We are visiting our sons in Toledo, home of the Plumber Mr. Joseph Wurzelbacher (That's right! Call him MISTER!).

Toledo is home to the worst of the Democrat union mentality and has elected the pro-abortion, pseudo-Catholic, and anti-business Marcy Kaptur to Congress for over 20 years.

My neighborhood, with modest 50-year old houses under $100,000, has hardly any political signs! Some streets have none whatsoever. A few Obama signs here and there to be sure, but even the local union hall has a curiosity: its sign for Big Brobama is small and visible from only one direction. On the top of the building and visible from all directions is a sign for a local Dem for city council.

The house of the brother of a Dem state representative: no signs!

This is in contrast to the upper-middle/upper class area I haunt in Columbus, where sign wars began back in the summer.

Possible conclusions: since everyone is a Dem, they see no reason to hassle with a sign, because they are (over)confident about a win.

But then where is the new energy and excitement Big Brobama supposedly has generated among Dems? Shot in the foot by that over-confidence?

Or...maybe a good number are not all that thrilled with Big Brobama, hence no excitement, hence no signs?

Or...maybe a good number might vote for McCain...quietly, to avoid being hassled by the union bosses or any pro Big Brobama neighbors?

We shall see!
