He is a man who is uncomfortable with white people! The moment he engages one on one with another black person usually a liberal he feels he MUST get down on their level of VICTIMIZATION! He is a man who is fighting the natural desire that has been instilled in black Americans for 50 yrs now which is to say a victim group and he CANNOT see that it is Conservatism and our ability to be COLOR BLIND that is the real promised land. I will guess there are some Republicans who fear him but those would be the RINO's...you know the LIBERAL ones.

I can guarantee Steele that the 40% of Americans who self identify with Conservatism would NEVER in a million years fear him!

I think we've heard this tune before. Remember when he sat and nodded in agreement when an interviewer said that "the GOP convention looked like Nazi Germany?"

<blockquote>"There is nothing — nothing — conservative about echoing the class warfare-tainted rhetoric of the Left. Nothing."
Michele Malkin - 2 March 2009
</blockquote>

I won't feel good again about being a Republican until we can get an actual Republican to step up as leader and act like a leader, not like a guilt ridden liberal apologizer.

One more thing: When liberals sit there and accuse the GOP convention of looking like “Nazi Germany,” you might not want to sit there, nodding your head, and respond, “I agree.”
