Now she is concerned about security.

The newly re-minted Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, now is concerned about security in America. No, not at the border but at the Capitol where she hangs out for her day job.

According to USA Today…

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has asked President Donald Trump to reschedule his State of the Union address from later this month if the government remains shuttered – or deliver it in writing.

“Sadly, given the security concerns and unless government re-opens this week, I suggest that we work together to determine another suitable date after government has re-opened for this address or for you to consider delivering your State of the Union address in writing to the Congress on January 29th,” Pelosi wrote in a letter to Trump Wednesday.

Now that is an interesting ploy.

Nancy and Chuck are into the government shutdown along with Trump over 5 billion or so dollars in funding for security at the southern border. There is a security threat down south and if you don’t think so, you might think Alan Grayson is normal.

Now, all of a sudden Nancy is concerned with security anywhere is some king-sized chutzpah. When you think about it though it makes perfect sense. She wants to make sure her butt as the newly minted Speaker-ette of the peoples’ house is safe. Much like the wall around her home in the San Fran area. You have to make sure the unwashed masses don’t get close to you.

I do agree however that it is time for the Democrats to end this silly game they are playing to appease the bat you know what crazy of the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wing of your party. Pass a bill with the funding of the wall, barrier, fence and re-open the government.

Otherwise, the President should go ahead with the State of the Union as planned and watch Nancy sweat it out for an hour.
