Taking his time

If this fella were a Republican he would not still be considering anything, he would be toast.

Embattled candidate for Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison revealed yesterday that he is rolling it around in his brain that he should focus 100% on winning the A.G. spot and give up his cozy gig as the co-chair of the D.N.C.

Of course, as has been covered here, Ellison has been accused of some things that would make Judge Kavanaugh and his detractors blush. That he has not just given that cool job up shows that the media and the “stall at any cost” brigade in the Democratic party now want to operate with different rules.

What gives? Well according to The Hill…

Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) said Wednesday he’s considering stepping down from his role as deputy chair of Democratic National Committee to focus on his bid to become the next attorney general of Minnesota.

“You know, I’ve been evaluating that recently so we’ll see,” he told WCCO radio.

“I need to put 100 percent of my time, energy and resources into the race and into my office, and so it’s something I am taking consideration on. I’ll put it like this though, I’ll be 110 percent for Minnesota all the time every time without fail, so that’s something that we are beginning to evaluate right now.”

Ellison’s campaign has recently been roiled by allegations he abused his ex-girlfriend, Karen Monaghan, in 2016.

You need to put 100% of your time into winning a seat that a month ago you would have cruised to a win but this whole focus on Judge Kavanaugh being mean to people or throwing ice 30 years ago has kinda thrown a wrench into that plan.

This sounds like a broken record but can you imagine if someone that even looked like a conservative had done what Ellison is accused of doing and the victim had a doctors office visit after an alleged beating? The trial on Judge Judy’s show would have been 15 minutes and guilty would be the verdict.

Keith Ellison as the Co-Chair of the D.N.C. would be on the T.V. offering to drive the vehicle to take the perp to the execution chambers.

Let’s see once all the Kavanaugh stuff dies down if he actually follows through and steps down.

Somehow, I doubt it.
