Forget Daniels, Romney, Whatever; CHRISTIE in 2012!

In all seriousness, if this guy can deliver on what he’s saying in this speech, he should be our candidate in 2012.  He won’t need more than 2 years to do what needs to be done in NJ; most of his changes will happen in this year and next.

But holy cow, this is the kind of executive we need in the White House:

I am so proud to be a New Jerseyan right now.  I never thought I would write those words… ever.

Not from NJ, but I'll have to disagree.

It takes more than 2 years to clean up a blue-state (we have yet to clean out the roaches in the red states a la Achance), and Jersey just got a breath of fresh air. Why not let him have a chance to work and take the patient off life-support?

Furthermore, why do we have to yell “2012″? I’m not fully convinced that there will be a 2010. One step at a time please. The GOP primary will sluice out a candidate; it may not even be someone who is known currently.

Don’t leave the party, hijack it back!

The only poll that counts is the one at the ballot box.

I don’t want to be Reagan. I want to be a Chance/Soros hybrid.

Also disagree with Christie 2012

Looks like the whole “no clear leader” memo needs more circulation.

The longer there’s no clear leader on the right for the lefties and their sycophant media to tear into, the more time they spend running in circles, attacking shadows, and looking like vengeful morons by going after private citizens (Joe the Plumber, anyone?) who – because they’re not candidates or office-holders – can take the idiot media to court.

Alinsky says the left need a target to “personalize”. Denying them a clear leader to go after is only good sense. The enemy has told us their plan, why should we follow it?

are some Republicans so very desperate that if someone who utters the first right/correct word then that makes them qualified for the presidency. I am sick of some “shallow” Republicans screaming their choice before the person they are screaming about has the first year under their belt. This is getting totally rediculous.

LOL

Okay, I’ll stop.

But c’mon guys — let a guy from Jersey enjoy this for a minute or two.

Fine, I take back the 2012 thing altogether. I let my excitement get the better of me.

I’ll settle for Jets in the Superbowl next year. How about that?

Agreed!!! We'll be running against the old Mike Tyson in 2012

Act like a Conservative! Which means being skeptical and holding off praise until someone actually delivers.

Let’s just see who makes a genuine impact for the Conservative cause over the next two years and then reassess the field. As long as we choose a solid candidate, we’ll win easily. Remember that!

Christie is a force!

I still like Palin more, but Chris Christie is a force! He is a powerful looking man and he is willing to make the big cuts that we need. I loved when he said that he would govern like a one-termer. He is a reform minded republican much like Sarah Palin and that is why I like him. Christie is doing a great job in one of the most corrupt and Government-Union employee infested states in America. I don’t like his stance on Gun-Control, but that is because he is ex-law enforcement. Mitt Romney is a pile of poop. Daniels is ok. Christie is better than OK. I think Rick Lazio will be New York’s Chris Christie! Lazio ran a respectable race against Hillary.

The jury's still out on Christie...

His intentions may be good; he’s making the right moves but, after all, it is New Jersey. See if he can actually do anything or if he winds up in the Meadowlands.
