President Obama’s 50% Cairo Lie

In September of 2009 the President went to Cairo and made a speech to the entire MidEast.  He said,

We are all entitled…. “to a government that is transparent and does not steal from its people”.

There is stealing going on.  Mostly from the American people and the  Egyptians who have been our friends for well over a generation.  They are highly sensitive to the price of wheat.  Bread is a major component of their diet.  Thanks to the President’s penchant for spending and the Federal Reserve’s quantitative easing, the dollar price of wheat in 2010 went from $201.55 per metric ton to $305.08.  That is an increase of over 50%!  This is US dollar devaluation in action.

Then in October with the ethanol at 10% of gasoline being exposed for the dumb idea that it is, the Adminstration went 50% again by permitting 15% ethanol for later model cars.  The ethanol debacle caused food riots around the world back in 2008.  US farmers are dedicating more and more acreage to growing corn instead of wheat.  Here is an Iowa State University projection from 2007..

We in the US can relieve the stress we are putting on the world by…

1) Stop devaluing the US dollar (Congressman Paul we are counting on you!)

2) Terminate the ethanol program before the start of the growing season

Latest Brilliance by Chris Christie

Our favorite Gov has scored a coup to drive a wedge between the AFL-CIO Dems and the loonie Dems.  He is supporting a bill to support the construction of two natural gas power plants.  One of which is in the backyard of DEM leader Steven Sweeney and the other returns the favor of another AFL-CIO DEM who supported him for Governor.

So the private sector construction unions are happy to get to empty their union halls and the lefties with RINO “green, snob Republicans” are livid!  This is smart politics, never miss a chance to divide your enemies!

Back in 1990′s New Jersey passed a law that the public would not share the enormous risks involved in building electrical power plants.  This was all part of the Enron scam that there was a free market for electricity.  If there were would construction cost overruns the electric utility had to eat them.  It was OK for at the time NJ had the best nuclear power grid in the US.  There has not been a new plant built since.  This bill permits cost sharing with the public ratepayers.  Today NJ imports 25% of its power from coal plants as far away as Ohio.

This also great because it puts to work the new natural gas supply coming from Pennsylvania and West Virginia!  Link below.

Virginia & Typhoid: Source of our Civil Rights legacy

The Pilgrims landed in Massachusetts in 1620.  In Jamestown, Virginia that year, the first cargo of African slaves was brought to America.  The reason was Typhoid.  Typhoid is a pathogen that most Europeans and Anglo-Saxons carried no immunity which the exception of the Welsh. There were not enough Welsh for the work to be done.  One hundred years of trying to get the Jamestown colony going had failed.  English people arrived in Virginia only to become ill working in the humid, fetid marshes of the New Land.  Typhoid is a lingering disease that if untreated flares up just as warm weather arrives.  So a workforce of Typhoid-immune workers was needed.

Now paying wages in the risky and labor intensive venture of agriculture never had and did not work.  It was exhausting and the heat of the day only permitted a few hours of work in the sun.  It was a given, housing, food and water in exchange for work.  It was lousy work so permitting resignations was out of the question.  These facts were even prevalent in Southern New Jersey where many people had no love for Abraham Lincoln and his ilk before, during and after the War.

Up North, people quickly found that the shorter growing season made other pursuits more profitable.  Why bust your hump lifting rocks out of the Earth when the Natives were happy to trade?

Now after the adoption of the Constitution and the “slave compromises”, Virgina “volunteered to permit the ending of the importation of slaves”.  This granted the likes of GW, TJ and others a monopoly on slaves.  This was before the advent of inorganic fertilizers so crop failure was a real risk back then and it was happening because what tobacco did to the soil.  In Virginia, if your crop failed you could sell your slaves to someone starting a plantation further south and pay your mortgage!  Black slaves became the gold of the 19th century in America.  Combine that with the advent of textile machinery in the UK and the North and there you have it!

Thomas Jefferson switched his farming to wheat and recent diggings on his lands revealed a highly benign employer-employee type relationship with his “slaves”.  But he did sell some.  So did the Jesuits at Georgetown.  This was the worst of African-American experience the breaking of families!

Robert E. Lee who was raised in Virginia’s landed gentry ran from agriculture as a career.  But as luck would have it he ended up as the executor of his father-in-law’s estate.  He found the only thing of value were the slaves and made his choice when Abraham Lincoln sought his service for the North.  He had in-laws that needed money!

America would not have been possible without African-Americans.  Without them we would have never established the economic independence that eluded Canada until the 20th century.  Our greatest crimes against them was the breaking of their families for economic gain and the assumption of superiority to justify their labor while white settlers sat and threw up due to Typhoid.

Enemies of Prosperity New Year’s Resolution

http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2011/01/03/business/AP-US-Gas-Drilling-Frackwater.html?src=busln

You knew this was coming.  They are attacking America’s new energy supply which is shale-based natural gas.  Fact is, I happened to have lived in Pennsylvania for a time.  The Keystone state has a number of issues with past mineral development like coal, slate and limestone and the majority of the people of PA are able to deal with them.  And the good news is the PA went GOP big time in November!

One thing to remember about the revolution that is taking place in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, it is happening on private land.  Watch Prosperity’s Enemies try to attack from the EPA!  Go Fred Upton!

Congressman Sensenbrenner Needs to Move His Desk

The GOP majority is expected to scrap the House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming.  Jim Sensenbrenner is seeking to preserve it.

It seems that Sensenbrenner did not get it.  The American people want a change in priorities and we spoke on Nov 2.

If the Congressman does not get it.  Perhaps he should move his desk to the minority’s side.

Keystone State Is Where the Wall Comes Down!

Hats off to all of you patriots in Pennsylvania!  I lived in the Allentown area for years and heard people who loved freedom and respected life say, “If we could just lose Arlen Spector, see what happens” and God Bless,  you pulled it off!

My prayers are with you folks because you defend property rights, specifically how it applies to America’s new energy supply, the new natural gas.   It is no small wonder given that Pennsylvania has always been the initial source of American energy.  Oil and coal were found in PA.

As I write this the enemies of freedom are trying to deny people the prosperity and well-being that comes from the new energy.  Just this week the City Council of Pittsburgh has attempted to ban new energy development within its city limits.  This takes me back to the kooks on the Cambridge, MA city council back in the 1980′s who decided they were going to trump Federal jurisdiction and ban all speech and thought about nuclear weapons.  Never mind that MIT and Harvard were within their city limits!  But this is the Left for you, they love oppression as long as they are the oppressors!

Keep fighting you coalcrackers and remember that George Washington found the Pennsylvania rifles most handy and feared by the RedCoats.

Save the United States by leaving it?

http://www.economist.com/node/16377327  Good Governance in Canada

A long buried period subsequent to the Revolutionary War was the years of the Torie migration.  British loyalists were driven out of the original thirteen colonies and many of them migrated to Canada.  If one lives in New Jersey, there are several homes and farms that were abandoned by these people who wanted to live under the Realm.

Today much to our dismay, Canada is in better economic shape than the USA. Here are some of the data:

2010 National Debt as % of GDP- US 98%  Canada 75%

Projected 2014 National Debt as a % of GDP – US 107% Canada 66%

The US GDP Growth next year will be saddled by the DEMS tax increases;  Canada is expected to easily grow by 3.1%.

So if things do not turn around despite our best efforts, do we vote with our feet?  Canada is 10% of the US Population at 30 million.  If 40% of the US electorate is we conservatives or 40,000,000 were to move North…

Maybe the Yahoos below the 49th parallel will get the message.

Top NJ DEMS Avoid Christie Protest

The New Jersey State Police estimate that 35,000 people turned out to protest budget cuts in Trenton yesterday.

But who no-showed? State Senate President Steven Sweeney, Democrat of Gloucester County who heads up the AFL-CIO for Southern NJ and Assembly Speaker, Sheila Oliver, Democrat of Essex County.

Chris Christie – says what he means, does what he says.  It works!

Is Karl Rove RINO?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100302/ap_on_re_us/us_rove_memoir

RINO – Ridiculously Ignorant Not Often

AP claims Karl Rove is admitting the “Iraq Error” that weapons of mass distruction.  Is the architect being misquoted?

The makings of WMD was found in Iraq and it was safely removed.  Five hundreds tons of yellowcake uranium was found in Iraq and removed to Canada.  Yellowcake uranium is the making of a dirty nuclear bomb where conventional explosives are used to propel particle radioactive uranium into the air.  It takes one pound of uranium with an exploded bomb to create a panic in a major city.  Therefore, one million potential “dirty” bombs were secured by our men and women in uniform.

I hope Mr. Rove is misquoted.

Kudos to CBS with this breaking down of the travel bill.

Over $1,000,000 with the military aircraft thrown in.

Question, who were the Republicans?
