It has been speculated that the President gave up on governing last year when he got his SOTU ratings and began campaigning.

He did even worse in 2012 this week.   Ratings were down more than 13% this Tuesday from the level in 2011.

They have over $4 Billion parked overseas that they want to bring to the US.

The President has surged to the Left.  This after going around Senate Majority Leader Reid in order to prevent a tax increase last December.  His current class warfare tactics can only mean that he is scared the Democrat hardcore will not bother to vote in November.  So we have a President up for reelection out to write off the portion of the electorate in the middle.

He did say back in 2008 that he would chose to be a one term President in order to do something great.

What is the true disfunctionality in Washington?  It is the fact that the Senate has not produced a budget.  The Democrat Senate will have to vote for tax increases.

So I ask the questions, does what the President really want is to prevent a 60 vote GOP in the Senate?  And preserve ObamaCare?

Are the Republican leadership helping the Democrats by negotiating on the budget and debt limit and/or going along with the Super Committee scam?

Why don’t they just demand that the Democrats in the Senate produce a budget?  Let us see it!

Tax increases?  Who has to vote for it?  Menendez, Mccaskell?  What are they so afraid of and why can’t Speaker Boehner and Minority Leader McConnell see this?

Mr. Buffett knows that an outgoing President is in a position to return favors without a political cost, i.e.;  President Reagan’s pardon of George Steinbrenner and President Clinton’s pardon of tax cheat, Marc Rich.

President Obama by order has established The Deficit  Reduction Commission (DRC).  He has appointed Democrat Erskine Bowles and former US Senator Alan Simpson, a Republican.

The choices presented to the DRC are two dagger-like ends of the bulls‘ horns, spending reduction on one horn and taxes increases on the
other.  The emergent trap of the US fiscal deficits, public debt to GDP and the political paralysis is widely reported.

In the private sector, when a company has too much debt the management looks for assets to sell.

We The People of the United States have assets to sell.  They are the US Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management inventory, the USDA Forest Service (co-managed by the BLM) and the Tennessee Valley Authority.

What do the American people have to sell by auction?

Over 440 million acres of surface land in the Bureau of Land Management and Forest Service

700 million acres of subsurface mineral estate within the BLM

58 power generating plants within the TVA (the TVA may be overleveraged, even more reason to sell)

Alan Simpson had the opportunity to do a great good for his State of Wyoming.  Over 80% of the land area of the State of Wyoming is under some form of Federal control.

These assets have tremendous value.  I will not at this point state that I can quantify right now as to how many TRILLIONS of DOLLARS.

We need to get started for the sake of our children and their children.

Hats off to the Bayshore Tea Party!  The cynical, so-called Federalist, head of the GOP, Jay Webber tries to use the “minority district” bias as a cudgel against the DEMS.  The Tea Partiers ask the right question:  What does the New Jersey Constitution say?

How did we ever get to this idea that we need to create “minority represented” districts? 

The Tea Party to me represents an American Reformation.  Martin Luther who was studying to become a Roman Catholic priest said, “What does the Bible say? “Never mind what some Bishop or Pope says!” “The people do not have to pay money to have their sins forgiven by God!”

God Bless the Tea Party!  They say what does the Constitution say?  We do not need politicians to draw the districts!
