Angry Newt!

Thank goodness for Newt! It literally amazes me how everyone and I mean everyone (yes, even all of them on Fox News) are attacking and criticizing Newt like he is the devil or something. The establishment wants who they want (Romney) and like democrats they will do anything to get their person the nomination. Pretty sad what has become of the GOP.

At first glance I also cringed when I heard Newt’s attacks on Romney and Bain Capital but in his defense Newt has made it VERY clear he is not attacking free enterprise in anyway. When you actually listen to Newt and not just the spin on what he said it makes sense. He is just questioning Mitt’s judgment and decisions not free enterprise or capitalism despite what the media keeps saying he is doing. Also, remember Newt did not start this plus it is better that it all comes out now instead of next fall. At least Romney has a chance to practice his response now because Obama WILL bring it up again.

Again, Newt has made it very clear that this is not an attack on capitalism but no one seems to be listening. He says it is about questioning Romney’s tactics in some situations. Not all, but some. Of course, no one on Fox or anywhere else will make clear what Newt is saying. Instead they just bash him and call him names like ‘Angry Newt’, ‘Road Rage Newt’, ‘Crazy Newt’, etc. I watch Newt all the time and I never see ‘Angry Newt’. I only see someone who is serious and makes solid points in a professional “matter of fact” manner. I like that! I want that in a President!

I get so sick of seeing Romney constantly smiling like a fake beauty pageant contestant and standing there with his hands in his pockets. I was in the Navy and standing around with your hands in your pocket was not a professional thing to do and not allowed.

Fox has really been disappointing me lately. It seemed to start back when Glenn Beck left the network. Does anyone else see them trying hard to be much more “middle of the road?” It is like listening to Michael Smerconish the way Fox is now. As if being a ‘moderate’ is the answer. Republicans falling for the trap of being a ‘moderate’ is why the country is in the shape it is now! Bi-partisanship and the phony notion that being a moderate is a ‘good’ thing are bringing our country to its knees and must stop. We need strong conservative leaders or there is no chance of fixing things.

The way Fox is attacking Newt makes me hope he succeeds if only to tic them off even more. Newt is not my first choice but I defend him on this one. I have a long history of being in business myself. I have dealt with venture capitalists before and while they do some good they can also do some bad. It is not like a regular business. Newt wants an explanation of Bain’s tactics in certain situations. This is a legitimate challenge! Mitt has hammered Newt over ‘certain’ situations in his past. This is no different.

People who are criticizing Newt so much saying he is attacking free enterprise are wrong. He is not. I love business and free enterprise more than anyone and will defend it to my death but I also realize that sometimes people do things in business that are wrong. Newt is asking the question of Romney to explain something in his past just like Romney challenged Newt on his past. Romney brought this up by bragging about how many jobs Bain Capital had created. If he had never brought that up this would be probably not be a topic of conversation right now.

Sure, Mitt had every right to do what he did. No one is saying he did anything illegal. I have no problem with what he did but the greater point here is that his VC background makes him the PERFECT opponent for Obama.

The Democrats have long been suggesting it will be Mitt Romney they will face. As Rush told us before, they always tell us who they want to go against and who they don’t. They have been telling us they want Romney for a long time. Now why in the world would they want Romney as the Republican nominee? The Occupy Wall Street movement did not just come about for any reason. It was not simply a spontaneous outcry. There is a reason it happened and helping Obama defeat Mitt Romney is one of them.

I can see it vividly…20,000 Occupy protesters camping out and rioting at the Republican convention this summer…Protesting Mitt Romney and his Wall Street pedigree. Is that what Republicans really want? That is coming if we nominate Mitt Romney. I would rather take my chances with Perry or Newt. I think their ‘issues’ are less damming than Mitt’s. Also, there is no doubt they are much more conservative than Romney.

I just don’t agree with the narrative that Romney has the best chance to beat Obama. CNN, MSNBC and the Republican establishment telling me that everyday confirms my belief it is not true.

Dear Santa – We Have an Obama Problem Down Here

At my age, one would think it’s too late to send a letter to Mr. Claus! This morning as I was crawling out of bed (that’s what I do anymore – crawl), there wasn’t any doubt in my mind that it was time to script a letter to that dear jolly little man who tries his best to bring joy to the little ones each holiday season.

Don’t know if you get the news from down here Santa so I thought I’d get you up to speed on what is, what was and what should have been. First of all, it’s been a H – - – of a year for all of us down here on “Ole Mother Earth.”

You probably remember the man I told you about in 2009 the guy some call Obama who landed here from some foreign Country with sack full of promises and a funny looking teleprompter. Yep, he’s the one who did that soft shoe thing, reached in his hat and tossed out something called “hope and change.”

Well forget the hope part Santa – he’s fractured our hope and the American Dream, but he darn sure came through with changes that will knock you right out of your sleigh.

Along with his promises, came the raving reviews from CNN, NBC, MSNBC stating that. Obama was a man of his word, honest, respectable and extremely personable (whatever that’s suppose to mean.) In other word this smooth talkin’ man was an answer to our prayers. So much for the Liberal News media.

He gleefully handed us a healthcare plan called “Obamacare” promising to save us money and make life more comfortable for all of us; it’s costing us an arm and a leg Santa. The old saying, “if it’s too good to be true – it probably isn’t. We played with fire and Obama darn sure burned us. It’s got to go!

What happened next, you’ll find hard to believe – we’re still shaking from Obama’s magic trick that he pulled out of his hat. It was a stimulus package wrapped up in fancy paper and ribbons, filled with mounds of fluff and amounting to about 787 billion dollars of taxpayer’s money.

He actually convinced Americans that he’d do some earth shaking reforms if we just hand him the money. He promised jobs, lots of jobs – that didn’t happen. He said he would downsize the Government, remove earmarks, give us transparency, help homeowners, keep unemployment at 8% and straighten out our foreign affairs and we’re still waiting. Actual unemployment is probably hovering around 20% right now, he’s charged 4 trillion more on our charge card and millions of people are still losing their homes.

There was a big problem here that Obama didn’t share with taxpayers. He Obama owed every Tom, Richard (Dick) and Harry a favor. By the time he paid off the Unions, all of his bundlers, the special interest groups and funded the corrupt corporations and lending institutions there wasn’t any money left for us.

Santa, if you have a list for corrupt and evil this Obama person needs to be on top of the list. Every time he gets on National TV, which is way too often, he does his soft shoe reaches in his hat and throws us another Obama scheme that’s going to cost us billions of dollars.

About 20,000 of us could be working right now on the Keystone Pipeline but he won’t approve the project. In fact he’s been missing in action since January 2009 – he’s allergic to work and addicted to spending better known as “redistribution.” Santa, you’d better sit down because the Obama tragedy only gets worse!

Obama and a guy named Holder came up with a plan to take our guns away and abolish the 2nd Amendment as we know it. They devised a scheme called the “Fast and Furious” operation which allowed our high powered weapons to walk across the Mexican border into the hands of the drug cartel. These guns murdered two of our finest, Brian Terry and Jaime Zapata along with hundreds of Mexican men, women and children.

Santa, I know you’re busy so will close for now – here’s what millions of Americans want for Christmas.

Obama: Gone!
Borders: Closed!

Congress: Obey it’s own laws
Language: English only
Culture: Constitution, and the Bill of Rights!
Drug Free: Mandatory Drug Screening before Welfare!
NO freebies to: Non-Citizens!

Merry Christmas Santa

God Bless America

Obama Has Lost His Pizazz!

Americans are tired of Obama jumping on National TV every day with his canned campaign speech – he’s one person who can’t rub his head and pat his tummy at the same time. His speeches are canned, predictable and boring. How many times must one endure his rhetoric and lies? We get it regardless of what he says; he’s all about redistribution and big Government.

Democrats and Republicans called their own meetings without inviting the Obama God. Both sides realize he’s a detriment not an asset, so they dumped him! Last evening Obama’s speech was predictable, non –sensical; nothing more than a 2012 campaign speech hoping to attract American voters and solidify his Democratic base.

First he must blame someone - President Bush took the hit again.
Next, he attempts to scare the elderly – basically saying if the debt ceiling isn’t raised it will result in default and over the cliff they’ll go…
Than he throws a scare at all Americans – saying bills won’t be paid if we default. He said he would not be able to pay all of the government’s bills, including Social Security checks and veterans’ benefits.
Next he played the blame game – saying Republicans want a “cut only” plan.

Finally his big hit was on those earning over 250,000 per year – he says the wealthy aren’t being asked to contribute anything.

So the wrap up of this speech comes down to this – he doesn’t have a plan his speech was poetic rhetoric laced with one lie after another. S & P told GOD, Democrats and Republicans that the credit rating would drop if we don’t reduce budget deficits and reduce the National Debt. This means the Government must stop the spending spree and ruthlessly slash the National Debt; there’s no negotiation here!

Around the Nation in a Flash:

CNN – has reluctantly been kept busy exposing their Democratic base. They just finished with the Weiner body parts and now they have an Oregon Congressman (U.S. Rep. David Wu) who’s resigning due to a daughter of one of Wu’s fund-raisers accused him of unwanted sexual advances in May.

In March of this year, Rep. Alcee Hastings was accused of sexual harassment of an employee for a period of about two years.

Eric Massa Resigns over Sexual Harassment Charges Further Disgracing Democrats in March 2010 and the sordid list just keeps rambling on…

Possibly there’s a connection between Liberals and sexual dysfunctions, maybe the Liberal ideology ravages the mind. Pelosi and Schultz seem to be cut from the same Liberal cloth; both repeatedly tell falsehoods pretty much on a daily basis.

Look at Debbie Wasserman Schultz a perfect example of a Liberal woman struggling with truth. Politifact – exposed her blatant lie the first of July when she said, “The Medicare proposal by Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., would “allow insurance companies to deny you coverage and drop you for pre-existing conditions.” — False according to Politifact

Look at Pelosi – she said, “In the first year of the Obama administration, more jobs were created in the private sector than in the eight years of the Bush administration.” — False, False, False according to Politifact. Frankly we didn’t need Politifact to verify that Pelosi and Wasserman are lying!

It has to be the “ideology” that is affecting the minds of MSNBC, CNN, Media Matters, CBS, NYT – their inability to discuss both sides of a story pretty much reflects back to what Obama said, their news is splintered; it’s one sided and without merit.

After being immersed in the garbage trenches for so many years, it’s no wonder that they’ve lost contact with reality. Ironically, their children, grandchildren and friends are being demonized by this sick group of so called journalists. I guess it just goes to show Americans, that the Liberal News Media will sell anything including their kids if the price is right.

Ed Schultz and MSNBC Have Not Apologized to Neal Boortz Yet

Yesterday, I provided conclusive proof that MSNBC’s Ed Schultz had doctored a Neal Boortz quote to make it look like Neal Boortz was advocating white people in Atlanta murder black people.

In reality, Boortz was advocating that victims of carjackings get conceal-carry permits and gun down the thugs trying to car jack them.

Ed Schultz willfully and maliciously left out the key part of Boortz’s quote providing context that Boortz was talking about self-defense against thugs. When a guest on Schultz’s show tried to raise the context in which Boortz made his comments, Schultz immediately switched to bashing the tea party movement as racist.

As of yet, MSNBC and Ed Schultz have not apologized to Boortz for doctoring his quote. When will MSNBC adhere to basic journalistic standards and correct the Schultz’a malicious act of quote doctoring?

Jeremy Gaines is the Vice President of Communications for MSNBC and can be reached at Jeremy.Gaines@nbcuni.com. You might want to email him and ask when MSNBC plans to issue an apology to Neal Boortz for doctoring his quote.

Ed Schultz Doctored a Neal Boortz Quote to Accuse Boortz of Advocating Murder

First Laura Ingraham. Now Boortz. I think Arbitron's ratings are giving Ed Schultz a complex.

My WSB colleague and guru, the Talkmaster Neal Boortz, created a bit of controversy this past week over comments he made about shooting thugs in Atlanta.

The controversy actually blew up because of Ed Schultz at MSNBC who claimed Boortz was advocating the murder of urban youths in Atlanta.

In fact, you can see this screen shot from the Schutlz show highlighting Neal Boortz’s controversial comment:

Ed Schultz Doctors Neal Boortz's Quote

There’s just one problem here. In both the screen shot and the accompanying audio, Ed Schultz doctored Neal Boortz’s quote. See, Boortz said those things, but in the middle there was this bit:

You need to get a permit to carry that gun. And you do in fact need to carry that gun and we need to see some dead thugs littering the landscape in Atlanta. We need to see the next guy that tries to carjack you shot dead right where he stands. We need more dead thugs in this city.

The full quote is below the fold. But this is the relevant portion for purposes of Ed Schultz’s monologue and it is clearly references self-defense, not wanton murder of thugs. In fact, when Schultz then interviewed a Hillary Shelton, Sr. of the NAACP about Boortz’s comment and Mr. Shelton brought up Boortz making the comment in terms of self-defense (around 11:02), Schultz jumped in and pushed the guy away from Boortz’s context and moved on to bashing the tea party movement.

This was a wholly dishonest editing of Boortz’s quote and his context, without even using ellipses in the on-screen text, to accuse Boortz of advocating murder instead of self defense.
