Equally as loathsome when actor and malcontent Sean Penn criticizes America while praising the Arab Spring, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg disparaging the US Constitution rivals treason.

Ginsburg’s ACLU convictions shadow her in old age. Conjoined in mindset with Barack Obama, both believe the Constitution is an outdated allegory, no longer sufficient as a guiding vehicle to the norms of contemporary society.

Like a vulture awaiting a carcass to further decompose before gorging its remains, Ginsburg shared her ill-timed and progressive views on social equality in the appropriately moldering venue of Egypt last week.

A proponent of foreign charters and treaties to better liberate the world, Ginsburg on Christian Arabic Alhayat television, said, “I would not look at the US Constitution if I were drafting a Constitution in 2012, instead suggesting a more modern version, namely South Africa’s, in laying more fundamental human rights and an independent judiciary.

In Cairo on the one-year anniversary of the Friday of Rage, marking the uprising leading to the ouster of Hosni Mubarak, Ginsburg called it “a very inspiring time, that you have overthrown a dictator, and that you are striving to achieve a genuine democracy. Americans are hoping that this transition will work.”

In the streets below her hotel overlooking Tahrir Square, Islamists and liberal secular-leaning protesters were seen divided on how to achieve that genuine democracy.

Also among the activists on the Square, where in 2011, three world newswomen on assignment were sexually assaulted and molested, including CBS News’ Lara Logan who was raped, were members of the rancorous Muslim Brotherhood, unsullied from a 50-seat parliamentary election victory, now in the driver’s seat of the country’s conscience.

While Ginsburg espoused “listening and learning from others,” referencing amended protocols from the European Convention on Human Rights, CBC Egypt was simultaneously broadcasting the carnage and subsequent rioting with police in the aftermath of a Port Said soccer match where 74 people were trampled to death.

Ginsburg’s sojourn was tainted as 19 Americans; some from US funded pro-democracy organizations were accused of inferring in the country’s internal politics, and are now being held hostage by Egypt’s military-appointed government.

Choosing not to contradict the objective of her visit, the normally outspoken Ginsburg had no comment on the wave of crime and internal turmoil in a region where the anti-Western Muslim Brotherhood calls the shots following Obama’s call one year ago for Mubarak to step down.

Since Ginsburg won’t use the US Constitution as an archetype model for Egypt, she can’t preach to the new choir inserted there
either; ones with as little regard for American ideals as Ginsburg herself.

CBS News: Divisions within Taliban make peace elusive

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta made news Wednesday when he said the combat role for U.S. troops in Afghanistan could end next year instead of 2014. On Thursday, he took a step back — insisting U.S. forces will remain combat ready — even as they transition into their new role of training Afghan troops.

Another part of the U.S. strategy involves getting the Taliban to hold peace talks with the Afghan government. CBS News correspondent Clarissa Ward spoke with some top Taliban representatives where they live in Pakistan.

They call Sami ul Haq the “Father of the Taliban,” one of Pakistan’s most well-known and hard-line Islamists.

Ward visited ul Haq at his religious school near the Afghan border. Many Afghan Taliban leaders and fighters studied there, earning it the nickname the “University of Jihad.”

Ul Haq said that top Taliban figures are receptive to the idea of peace talks, but that three key conditions must be met first: The Americans must leave Afghanistan, he told Ward. Secondly, Taliban leaders should be released from Guantonamo. The third demand is there should be no outside interference in Afghanistan.

It’s unlikely that American negotiators will accept these terms, though a release of some prisoners from Guantanamo Bay has been discussed.

While some elements of the Taliban’s leadership may be supportive of peace talks, there are clear signs that divisions exist within the group. Many of the younger, more militant foot soldiers insisting that they are not ready to stop fighting.

At a small guesthouse on the outskirts of Islamabad, CBS News had the rare chance to sit down with a young Taliban commander from Helmand province. For security reasons, he asked that his face be not shown.

“If these talks in Doha are successful and Taliban leaders tell you and your fighters to put down your arms, will you do it?” asked Ward.

“No, it will not happen,” he said. “And those who are talking to the political wing of the Taliban should understand that real peace is only possible by talking to the ground fighters.”

“So the bottom line is you’re not willing to compromise, you’re not willing to collaborate? Is there any chance of peace?”

“If the Afghan government announced tomorrow that strict Islamic law would be reinstated, we would accept that,” he said, “but those in power now will never go along with that.”

For the moment, there is a huge gulf between what the Taliban and their backers want and what America would be willing to accept.

So the Deans of Jihad have dictated terms to the West, the terms they propose of the West’s surrender to the Jihadis in the war on terror.

So what should the response of the West be? Should we surrender to the Jihadis, or should we fight to win?

This guy Sami ul Haq should be a prisoner at Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp along with his University of Jihad colleagues, his controllers from the Pakistani ISI and his financial backers from Saudi Arabia.

The US and Western allies ought to name Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as “state sponsors of terrorism”.

There ought to be drone strikes on the University of Jihad. (Darul Uloom Haqqania, Akora Khattak, Pakistan)

We ought to seize control of Pakistani and Saudi TV satellites and use them to broadcast propaganda calling for the arrest of all involved in waging terrorist war against the West.

It just seems very poor tactics for our military to be risking life and limb in the minefields of Afghanistan yet at the strategic level our governments and businesses are still “trading with the enemy”.

At my age, one would think it’s too late to send a letter to Mr. Claus! This morning as I was crawling out of bed (that’s what I do anymore – crawl), there wasn’t any doubt in my mind that it was time to script a letter to that dear jolly little man who tries his best to bring joy to the little ones each holiday season.

Don’t know if you get the news from down here Santa so I thought I’d get you up to speed on what is, what was and what should have been. First of all, it’s been a H – - – of a year for all of us down here on “Ole Mother Earth.”

You probably remember the man I told you about in 2009 the guy some call Obama who landed here from some foreign Country with sack full of promises and a funny looking teleprompter. Yep, he’s the one who did that soft shoe thing, reached in his hat and tossed out something called “hope and change.”

Well forget the hope part Santa – he’s fractured our hope and the American Dream, but he darn sure came through with changes that will knock you right out of your sleigh.

Along with his promises, came the raving reviews from CNN, NBC, MSNBC stating that. Obama was a man of his word, honest, respectable and extremely personable (whatever that’s suppose to mean.) In other word this smooth talkin’ man was an answer to our prayers. So much for the Liberal News media.

He gleefully handed us a healthcare plan called “Obamacare” promising to save us money and make life more comfortable for all of us; it’s costing us an arm and a leg Santa. The old saying, “if it’s too good to be true – it probably isn’t. We played with fire and Obama darn sure burned us. It’s got to go!

What happened next, you’ll find hard to believe – we’re still shaking from Obama’s magic trick that he pulled out of his hat. It was a stimulus package wrapped up in fancy paper and ribbons, filled with mounds of fluff and amounting to about 787 billion dollars of taxpayer’s money.

He actually convinced Americans that he’d do some earth shaking reforms if we just hand him the money. He promised jobs, lots of jobs – that didn’t happen. He said he would downsize the Government, remove earmarks, give us transparency, help homeowners, keep unemployment at 8% and straighten out our foreign affairs and we’re still waiting. Actual unemployment is probably hovering around 20% right now, he’s charged 4 trillion more on our charge card and millions of people are still losing their homes.

There was a big problem here that Obama didn’t share with taxpayers. He Obama owed every Tom, Richard (Dick) and Harry a favor. By the time he paid off the Unions, all of his bundlers, the special interest groups and funded the corrupt corporations and lending institutions there wasn’t any money left for us.

Santa, if you have a list for corrupt and evil this Obama person needs to be on top of the list. Every time he gets on National TV, which is way too often, he does his soft shoe reaches in his hat and throws us another Obama scheme that’s going to cost us billions of dollars.

About 20,000 of us could be working right now on the Keystone Pipeline but he won’t approve the project. In fact he’s been missing in action since January 2009 – he’s allergic to work and addicted to spending better known as “redistribution.” Santa, you’d better sit down because the Obama tragedy only gets worse!

Obama and a guy named Holder came up with a plan to take our guns away and abolish the 2nd Amendment as we know it. They devised a scheme called the “Fast and Furious” operation which allowed our high powered weapons to walk across the Mexican border into the hands of the drug cartel. These guns murdered two of our finest, Brian Terry and Jaime Zapata along with hundreds of Mexican men, women and children.

Santa, I know you’re busy so will close for now – here’s what millions of Americans want for Christmas.

Americans are tired of Obama jumping on National TV every day with his canned campaign speech – he’s one person who can’t rub his head and pat his tummy at the same time. His speeches are canned, predictable and boring. How many times must one endure his rhetoric and lies? We get it regardless of what he says; he’s all about redistribution and big Government.

Democrats and Republicans called their own meetings without inviting the Obama God. Both sides realize he’s a detriment not an asset, so they dumped him! Last evening Obama’s speech was predictable, non –sensical; nothing more than a 2012 campaign speech hoping to attract American voters and solidify his Democratic base.

First he must blame someone - President Bush took the hit again.
Next, he attempts to scare the elderly – basically saying if the debt ceiling isn’t raised it will result in default and over the cliff they’ll go…
Than he throws a scare at all Americans – saying bills won’t be paid if we default. He said he would not be able to pay all of the government’s bills, including Social Security checks and veterans’ benefits.
Next he played the blame game – saying Republicans want a “cut only” plan.

Finally his big hit was on those earning over 250,000 per year – he says the wealthy aren’t being asked to contribute anything.

So the wrap up of this speech comes down to this – he doesn’t have a plan his speech was poetic rhetoric laced with one lie after another. S & P told GOD, Democrats and Republicans that the credit rating would drop if we don’t reduce budget deficits and reduce the National Debt. This means the Government must stop the spending spree and ruthlessly slash the National Debt; there’s no negotiation here!

CNN – has reluctantly been kept busy exposing their Democratic base. They just finished with the Weiner body parts and now they have an Oregon Congressman (U.S. Rep. David Wu) who’s resigning due to a daughter of one of Wu’s fund-raisers accused him of unwanted sexual advances in May.

In March of this year, Rep. Alcee Hastings was accused of sexual harassment of an employee for a period of about two years.

Possibly there’s a connection between Liberals and sexual dysfunctions, maybe the Liberal ideology ravages the mind. Pelosi and Schultz seem to be cut from the same Liberal cloth; both repeatedly tell falsehoods pretty much on a daily basis.

Look at Debbie Wasserman Schultz a perfect example of a Liberal woman struggling with truth. Politifact – exposed her blatant lie the first of July when she said, “The Medicare proposal by Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., would “allow insurance companies to deny you coverage and drop you for pre-existing conditions.” — False according to Politifact

Look at Pelosi – she said, “In the first year of the Obama administration, more jobs were created in the private sector than in the eight years of the Bush administration.” — False, False, False according to Politifact. Frankly we didn’t need Politifact to verify that Pelosi and Wasserman are lying!

It has to be the “ideology” that is affecting the minds of MSNBC, CNN, Media Matters, CBS, NYT – their inability to discuss both sides of a story pretty much reflects back to what Obama said, their news is splintered; it’s one sided and without merit.

After being immersed in the garbage trenches for so many years, it’s no wonder that they’ve lost contact with reality. Ironically, their children, grandchildren and friends are being demonized by this sick group of so called journalists. I guess it just goes to show Americans, that the Liberal News Media will sell anything including their kids if the price is right.
