CNN – in their typical manner of reporting the news, slap Republican hands and refuse to share the two logical workable budget plans presented by Republicans. Instead, they initiate their usual scare tactics saying Geithner and Bernanke says the sky will fall if the debt ceiling isn’t raised.

Bernanke has lead us down this destructive financial path for 8 years and he’s itching to print more monopoly money, which in reality will continue shoving us over the cliff as inflation and unemployment are nipping at our heels.

Timothy Geithner of all people should have addressed our debt problems months ago – supposedly he’s the man around town who knows what balancing a budget entails, but good Old Tim just keeps kicking that can down the road. After all he’s planning on splitting in the near future!

MSNBC – gives their version of the debt ceiling crisis and one must wonder if they’re real journalists or some tabloid in disguise trying to improve their bottom line. They just don’t get it! They should be exposing the Democrats who ignored the budget situation for years and still as of 7/24/11 they’re without a plan. We can’t keep raising the debt ceiling without ruthlessly reducing our National Deficit problems.

They should be discussing the need for immediate budget cuts instead of raving over a few billion that will be saved over 10 to 15 years according to Obama and the DEMS. They should be reporting the problems with SS and Medicare and showing Americans why there must be major revisions to the two existing programs. Both programs have a short life and will be non-existent for our children, grandchildren and future generations if immediate steps aren’t taken.

NYT – They’re backing Obama as he adamantly refuses to consider the two Republican budget plans. Obama will not accept a temporary extension of the debt ceiling because it would harm his campaign for 2012. NYT needs to talk about the big picture during this recession. The credit rating they’re talking about has one pretty easy solution, which is reducing the National Deficit.

Here’s what Standard and Poors says; Standard & Poor’s put the U.S. government on notice that it risks losing its AAA credit rating unless policy makers agree on a plan by 2013 to reduce budget deficits and the national debt.

It’s a strong possibility that the Liberal News Media in their attempt to give Obama a second term, they’ve neglected some very important facts.

S&P says reduce our National Deficit now, so kicking the can down the road until 2012 isn’t an option. Steve Wynn tells the world why businesses are stagnant, so backing Obama on tax increases probably isn’t a smart solution.

The Liberal News Media lives in a life of complacency and denial; they refuse to discuss both sides of the story. Their only reason for existence appears to be political and this will prove to be very short lived if they don’t start discussing the “nitty gritty” that has caused the recession and it darn sure wasn’t BUSH.

Democrats have been in power since 2006, so they must shoulder the responsibility for an increase in the National Deficit of 4.7 trillion. They’re responsible for 9.2% unemployment due to their leader’s corrupt ideology (whatever you want to call it.) The Democrats are personally responsible for the misuse of the stimulus money and why hasn’t the Liberal News Media exposed their scam on taxpayers?

Steve Wynn discussed the many reasons that we’re not coming out of this recession. Obamacare, possibility of taxes being increased and the increased regulations placed on businesses big and small. Here’s what Steve said, “Democratic and Republican business people are afraid of the Government now and he said, “Everybody’s afraid of the government and there’s no need soft peddling it, it’s the truth.”

The Liberal News Media are the robots of the Socialist; they’re the little monkeys who do the dance for the organ grinders who collect taxpayers’ money. They don’t get paid for thinking; they get paid for promoting Socialism. If you ask any of them a few questions, you’ll get a canned response from all of them.

For example:
Why are we in a recession? They’ll blame it on Bush, Republicans, the tea parties and dumb Americans.

What happened to our stimulus money? That’s a secret that we’re not allowed to talk about.

Why are businesses refusing to hire, grow or stimulate economy? They’ll deny that Obamacare, outlandish business regulations and the threat of taxes are the real problems.

What has Obama accomplished in the past 21/2 years? They’ll say, he’s created millions of jobs, brought us out of a recession caused by Republicans and that our economy is pretty darned good.

Why do we have to raise our debt ceiling again? They’ll definitely not answer that question, but they’ll toss it to Obama, Bernanke and Geithner who will say because, because, because!

Why doesn’t Obama and Democrats have a balanced budget plan? They’ll ignore that question and immediately blame Republicans, tea parties and Americans for our budget problems.

Stupid, he’s not – I’d opt for scam artist. More importantly why are Americans handing billions out the back door to Gore and his global warming “buds. If Gore wants to study global warming let his do it on his own dime and time; taxpayers shouldn’t be footing the bill via Government Grants.

Each summer we have heat waves and the heat index is the temperature plus humidity factored into the equation. Looking back at our winter and spring of 2011, you’d have to admit there’s not much evidence of global warming.

But Al Gore is still standing on his soapbox, yapping about global warming. He uses ever ruse in the books from the extinction of polar bears to CO2; every flood, major storm is used by Gore in an attempt to prove global warming.

There’s a reason why Al Gore still laughs all the way to the bank. Our friendly little Liberal News Media grabbed the words “global warming,” and kept the airways hot in an attempt to sell Gore’s “Global Warming Package” to Americans. The sick thing is our Government, you know the one who can’t budget, pay bills and keeps throwing our money away to special interest groups came up with some outlandish Government Grants to pursue Gore’s global warming scheme.

Not being a scientist, which most of us aren’t – it’s pretty evident that our weather goes in cycles and the elements that control those cycles are the sun, moon, oceans and the constant movement beneath our feet. When these elements gang up on us, we’re going to have weather that creates havoc, maims and kills thousands.

After doing some research I’ve listed a few extreme weather conditions that have occurred down here on old mother earth. Tsunamis, hurricanes, floods, heat waves and the list rambles on aren’t unusual, which pretty much cans Gore’s global warming as a scam to make billions off of America’s finest.

The Dust Bowl in the 1930s is the driest, warmest and most widespread destructive heat wave decade in centuries. The number one flood on the USGS list devoured what is now known as Oregon and Washington State – occurring about 25,000 to 15,000 years ago during the ice age.

8,000 years ago: A volcano caused an avalanche in Sicily 8,000 years ago that crashed into the sea at 200 mph, triggering a devastating tsunami that spread across the entire Mediterranean Sea. Some Scientists believe the tsunami was taller than 10-story building.

IN 2009, Al Gore set the stage for the CO2 scandal that he finally had to admit to God and everyone saying, “He guessed he’d made a mistake.” But, never fear old Al came up with a new scheme later in 2009.

Gore now blames soot and methane for the majority of global warming, leaving the door open for a tax on livestock, a tax on meat, a tax on milk, and on and on until he changes his mind again and blames another culprit so that too can be taxed. 30,000 scientists so upset with the Gore Fraud that they were planning on suing him in 2009, 9,000 with doctorate degrees in atmospheric science, climatology, Earth science, environment and other specialties – have signed a petition rejecting global warming. Thousands of scientists are stepping up and exposing Gore’s fraudulent activity. Yet, he’s still laughing all the way to the bank. Shame on our Government!

The chorus of skeptical scientific voices grew louder in 2010 as the Climategate scandal, which involved the upper echelon of U.N. IPCC scientists, grew. Noted Princeton Physicist pretty said, “I view Climategate as science fraud, pure and simple.”

Al Gore and Obama are scam artists, backing their statements up with off the wall statistics and poetic rhetoric. They both thrive on the use of scare tactics and both of them seem to think they entitled to an open end check from taxpayers.

On the 10th anniversary of Bush v. Gore, we re-visit our Man of the Decade

I wrote last week that Kansas’ Sam Brownback is one of 13 Senators who want to continue the not-supported-by-science federal laws that do two things:  place tariffs on foreign ethanol, and give tax credits to American ethanol producers.

As it happens, a bipartisan coalition of senators, ranging from Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., to Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., also favors eliminating or reducing that tariff. But they would go further than Udall and eliminate the subsidy for domestic supplies as well, which is up for renewal at year’s end.

As the 17 senators explained in a letter to Senate leadership, “The data overwhelmingly demonstrate that the costs of the current ethanol subsidy and tariff far outweigh the benefits . . . ethanol tax credits cost taxpayers $1.78 for each gallon of gasoline consumption reduced, and $750 for each metric ton of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions reduced.”

Despite a cold decade and recent climate hoax revelations, no other person had more of an impact, for better or worse (see worse in Gore’s case), on life in America and on Planet Earth than the man that never was the next President of the United States.

Gore lacks the courage of Andrew Jackson and the judgement of Richard Nixon

The “naughts” of the Second Millenia, annos domini, began with an unprecedented act in the history of the United States: the retraction of a presidential election concession.

Yes, the Shining City on a Hill had been more divided than it became after Florida 2000 (Fort Sumter 1861 comes to mind), but never in the way the Love Story inventor of the Internet divided us. One would have thought that Bill Clinton’s vice-president was the first candidate in the history of the Republic to garner more popular votes only to lose the Electoral College vote that actually decides who will occupy the unitary executive seat for the following four years.

He wasn’t, but Gore was the first to so lose and concede, only then to retract the concession, embroil the nation in a months-long legal battle, concede a second time, and then proceed to roil his true-believers and more in the Democratic Party that his election was “stolen” by a “Republican” Supreme Court that merely applied the 14th Amendment’s requirement of “equal protection of the laws” to the counting of “chads” on ballots in all counties of the Sunshine State.

Not to mention the fact that all of the recounts by the Drive-by media branch of the Democratic party had President George W. Bush winning Florida by more than 500 votes.

Gore showed himself to be the antithesis of all that has made America unique, exceptional and great since Federalist President John Adams relinquised the position of Commander-in-Chief to Democrat President Thomas Jefferson, without rancor.

Gore lacked the courage of a General Andrew Jackson who famously said that one such man makes a majority, but accepted a bitter electoral defeat that was thrown into Congress after he won a substantial popular majority.

Gore can’t even meet the honorable standard of a Richard Nixon in 1960 who probably won the popular vote and the electoral votes of Alabama, West Virginia and Illinois, only to decide to concede the election rather than tear the country apart with provable evidence of fraud in those states.

Prior to September 11, 2001, we couldn’t forsee the consequence of Gore’s divisivness, and then the Towers fell.

Betrayal, playing on fears and the “Bushlied Era”

Despite the fact that the Democratic Party had exuded weakness to the world since at least 1975, there appeared to some to be a backbone of unity among the American people for awhile after 911, but it didn’t take long afterwards, even before the invasion of Iraq, for fissures to appear.

Remember the “why do they hate us” mantra of many on the left, including that specific question asked by Bill Clinton in a speech given while Ground Zero sill smoldered, not mention his 2003 speech in Davos that praised the Iranian regime.

But the former President was never divisive. The former vice-president defined divisive soon after his Democratic party overwhelmingly authorized the Iraq War based partially on the same US, UK, French and UN intel WMD evidence that Bill Clinton relied upon for Desert Fox and other military actions against Iraq before 911.

Can anyone ever forget the red-faced, screaming at the top of his lungs, expatriot from the Volunteer State declaring about the Commander-in-Cheif with troops in the feild, that:

“He betrayed this country. He played on our fears.”

That launch of the poisonous 2003-2008 “Bushlied Era” is seared in my memory exponentially more than John Kerry’s imaginary Christmas in Cambodia.

And so is the silence of all fellow Democrats but Lieberman and too many honorable friend Republicans that failed to call out Gore and his ilk as the true betrayer, liar, fear-monger and man most responsible for dividing this country at war and ensuring that the Miracle of Iraq would never be appreciated and the armed forces denied their glory.

Gore, Biden & Obama do not ask forgiveness to this day for their transgressions in perpetuating the Bushlied BIG LIE, despite Bush’s re-election and the progress in Iraq after the surge. And so, they receive no forgiveness from this Rooster, nor do the “good” people who acquiesced in silence.

America is kept safe for eight years after 911 and we essentially win two wars, yet no glory or unity due to Gore et al. Disgrace is too mild a word for the damage they have done to this country and for Liberty around the world.

The Man-Made Global Warming/Climate Change lie that cost the arsenal of freedom good paying jobs, lower energy costs, higher energy supplies and security while funding terror regimes via imported oil.

Some may be surprised that I include the main tenet of Gore’s Anthropogenic Church given that it has yet to be enacted into law as the attack on the poor that it is and since it is in the process of being discredited due to leaks of emails by the scientists perpetuating the fraud.

But the BIG LIE was enormously effective in its impact in what it prevented from happening. The old Soviet Union and Osama bin laden could not have conspired to harm the United States in its national security more than what the Democratic Party did on its own to its own nation.

Whether it was Democrat congressional majorities or President Clinton in the 80s and 90s or a president Obama or Democratic senate filibusters in the 2000s, it was the World’s Oldest Political Party led by Al Gore that kept any new areas for domestic oil and natural gas exploration from being opened up after Three Mile Island in 1978, and for there to be no new nuclear power plants or oil refineries to built after the Exxon Valdez spill that seagulls cleaned up in months.

And so, we find ourselves much more vulnerable to terror sponsoring, oil producing states with still no magic energy bullet. Alchemy turning granite into gold still eludes the liberal think tanks as well, and the only true vision of a Gore-Obama green world would be horse dung in the streets and water and wood burning stove smoke in the air. What should have been…

Do I believe that America 2009 would be a paradise absent Al Gore and the cultural and political left? No, but surely we would be better off as a nation united against terror; united in exultation over peace on the homeland for eight years; and at work drilling for oil and constructing refineries.

We aren’t because of the Al Gores of the world.

Housing, Greenspan-Bernanke and 2009′s Man of the Year

I haven’t mentioned the economic crisis yet, but even there, it is primarily Gore’s party that kept Fannie and Freddie from being reined in, but I would concede that had it not been for the governmental debt both parties ran up over the past three decades (as well as personal debt by all) and the too easy money/low interest rate policy of the Fed for too long after 911, we might have avoided the 2008 housing bubble/credit crisis that we still suffer the grave consequences of today.

But the fact is that both Bush and McCain tried to rein in the Democrats housing distortions only to be rebuffed by minority filibusters.

We agree, btw, with Time’s choice of Ben Bernanke as having had the most impact on the world in 2009, but we would point to his role in egging on Greenspan from 2002-2006 as more significant in his negative impact on the reality at hand than his admittedly positive actions after the crisis arose.

I never heard Gore come out against forcing banks to make bad loans lest they be accused of racism or bigotry against the poor. Gore owns the Democratic Party and it owns him. Thanks for nothing to both for making the naughts mostly good for naught.

“One man with courage makes a majority.” – Andrew Jackson

A series of recent events strikes me as being much like a quilt; there is a common thread running through it. Here are the events:

Event #1 – Al Gore is forced to admit that his confident assertion that all arctic ice will soon melt is not based on science, but instead on his own personal belief . . . in other words, a statement of faith.

Event #2 – The hacked emails from the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit, which has led to the Climategate scandal: To perpetuate the Anthropogenic Global Warming myth as genuine, best-practice science, scientists have been forced to abandon science in favor of faith (the data doesn’t show it, but we believe it anyway) and, strictly for the benefit of mankind, they also had to lie.

Event #3 – A Canadian newspaper recently editorialized a helpful suggestion to combat AGW. Diane Francis of the National Post recommended that the entire world follow the example of China in its one child policy. The article by Francis went on to praise all the benefits to China resulting from its one child policy. Francis conveniently forgot to tell you how difficult it is for young Chinese men to find a suitable bride. It isn’t because Western mores have sullied a whole generation of eligible Chinese bachelorettes (which I imagine is the preferred explanation of multi-culti America bashers). The real explanation . . . an inconvenient truth if you will . . . lies in all the aborted female babies that never grew up to become eligible bachelorettes. China’s one child policy has led to the wholesale slaughter of females as Chinese parents, limited to only one child, use abortion to ensure a son. Perhaps, Francis’ embrace of China’s one child policy qualifies as a hate crime in Canada? The same Canadian thought crime tribunal (aka, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal) that went after Mark Steyn should be immediately notified of Francis’ gender hatred.

Event #4 – Live Action’s Rose Acuna project is catching Planned Parenthood (PP) in the act of lying about fetal development to women considering an abortion. In short, the “counselors” at Planned Parenthood are trying desperately to strip the preborn of their humanity to make it all the easier for women to consent to an abortion. The PP counselors lie about when the child’s heartbeat begins and even state that it’s not a baby until birth. Of course, deception is not new for PP. Live Action has also caught PP in the act of aiding and abetting the cover up of statutory rapes and gladly accepting racist donations specifically meant to abort African American babies. Planned Parenthood’s version of science, like the scientists at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit, apparently involves quite a bit of deception . . . all for the good of humanity of course.

Event #5 – Buying off senators to pass the health care reform boondoggle at any cost, truth be damned. We witnessed the re-purchasing of Louisiana (aka, buying off Sen. Mary Landrieu) and now we have the potential 500 million dollar purchase of Senator Ben Nelson’s vote. The actual effects of the bill are secondary to the largesse used to grease the wheels of a yea vote. You see, large amounts of largesse . . . say in the hundreds of millions . . . equates to a humongous amount of power, and that gives quite a buzz, not surpassed by any other intoxicant known to man . . . truth be damned.

So, in the space of a short blog, I’ve mentioned five patches to the quilt just off the top of my head. There are plenty of other patches; the list could go on and on. But make no mistake; there is indeed a common thread. If, however, you’re on any one patch, then it may be hard to see the thread and that, I fear, is by design (and not necessarily human either; see Ephesians 6:12 and C.S. Lewis’s The Screwtape Letters).

The answer to, “what is the common thread?” is best summed up with Pilate’s infamous question:

“What is truth?” (John 18:38)

In Pilate’s case, he wasn’t providing an answer in a “Jeopardy!” format. He was instead denying the very existence of truth, and that is the common thread. Those unfortunate enough to share the same perspective as Pilate will also surely be afflicted by a concomitant condition: they will fail to realize that truth is as essential to life as Oxygen and Water. In fact, it is essential to the most important facet of life . . . eternal, immortal life. Jesus Christ (Mark 2: 1-12) indicated this when a cripple was lowered through a hole in a roof in order to reach him. Christ did not at first cure the man of his physical affliction. He at first forgave his sins, and only when people were aghast at Christ doing only what is reserved for God (the forgiveness of sins), did Jesus cure the man of his physical ailment. Christ then asked which is easier: to forgive the man’s sins or to tell the cripple to rise and walk away fully cured?

On that particular day, Jesus affected two cures . . . the curing of the cripple’s eternal soul and then the curing of his physical, fallen body. The curing of the soul is by far the most important, and it is precisely this fact that is so ultimately lost on those who share Pilate’s view on the truth (“What is truth?”). Those who are afflicted with Pilate’s Syndrome don’t even realize that they need something more vital than even water and Oxygen.

Christ, of course, was clear in his definition of the truth. He said that He is the truth (John 14:6). When truth is denied, Christ too is therefore denied. It is the equivalent of an attempted repudiation of the ultimate moral law giver who Lords over all reality . . . both that which is seen and unseen. The moral laws . . . aka, the truth . . . are not a bunch of prudish killjoys meant to impede our free-to-be-me, self-actualization (as many shrinks maintain). Rather they are the owner’s manual instructions on maintaining a healthy immortal, human soul. They are healing and joy. They are the only nutritious food for the soul.

Repudiation of the ultimate moral lawgiver, though, is not without consequence. We end up with things like the rise of new age, Gnostic religions like Anthropogenic Global Warming and hedonistic death cults like the abortion industry in America. The truth of the matter is that when you deny truth, like Pilate, you deny the soul its very sustenance and by doing so, you ensure its eternal death, separation from its source . . . the way, the truth, and the life, Jesus Christ.

So, truth denied is Christ rejected and Christ rejected is a Pandora’s Box of human misery. Creeping out of that box is Al Gore, Copenhagen’s Climate Summit, Planned Parenthood, China’s population control, and the list could go on and on. When a culture rejects truth, it rejects life and it inevitably weaves a death quilt that will surely serve double duty as that society’s death shroud . . . final jeopardy indeed.

The climate change cabal was dealt a deadly blow when a journal demanded a complete set of data to back their claims. Results published in the prestigious Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society show that scientists had been suppressing results. When the full data set was taken, the warming trend which allegedly takes the shape of a hockey stick disappeared!

Mr McIntyre’s analysis of the data – which he had been asking for since 2003 – suggests that scientists at the Climate Research Unit of the Hadley Centre associated with the UK Met. Office have been using only a small subset of the available data to make their claims that recent years have been the hottest of the last millennium.   When the entire data set is used, Mr McIntyre claims that the hockey stick shape disappears completely.

The office which has sponsored the fake data trend is the same that has been pushing global warming propaganda through the IPCC.

As Christopher Booker has reported the Met Office, its Hadley Centre in Exeter and the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at University of East Anglia are among the primary drivers of global climate change alarmism. Their data has formed the basis for the IPCC’s “we’re all doomed” reports; their scientists – among them Professor Phil Jones and tree ring expert Professor Keith Briffa – have been doughty supporters of Mann’s Hockey Stick theory and of the computer models showing inexorably rising temperatures.

The former vice president feigned outrage when a filmmaker dared to challenge his dogma.

McAleer asked Gore about a court case brought by British parents who challenged the veracity of nine facts in Gore’s documentary “An Inconvenient Truth,” and argued that the film should be taken out of schools.

“Do you accept the findings,” asked McAleer, “and have you done anything to correct those errors?”

“Well, I’m not going to go through all of those,” he said. “The ruling was in favor of the movie, by the way. The ruling was in favor of showing the movie in schools.”
