Move Over Stormy: There May Be More Nondisclosure Agreements Lurking in Trump's Closet

It’s not just Stormy.

At least, that’s the word from Michael Avenatti, attorney for porn star (and former Trump mistress), Stormy Daniels (real name: Stephanie Clifford).

According to Avenatti, he’s been approached by half a dozen women with stories similar to that of his client’s. At least 2 of those women have also signed nondisclosure agreements.

“The initial consultations, the initial information that we’re receiving indicates that there are some striking similarities between their stories and that of my client, Ms. Clifford,” Avenatti said.

What’s not clear is if any of these women who have reached out to Avenatti were among the nearly 20 women who came forward a month before the 2016 election to say Trump had engaged in some form of sexual harassment or misconduct with them.

I’m going to guess that these were different women, since, as Avenatti said, their stories were similar to his client’s, so that means affairs, and not just Trump being a misogynistic jerk.

In the case of Stormy Daniels, Trump’s longtime lawyer, Michael Cohen has admitted that he set up a limited liability company and transferred $130,000 of his own funds to her.

This happened a month before the election, just as the porn star was about to join all the other voices that were telling what they knew about Trump’s deep character flaws.

Apparently, her story was a bit more threatening, at least in the mind of Trump and his lawyer.

Avenatti said Thursday that he did not yet know whether other women had been paid out of the same LLC used to pay Daniels.

Speaking of threatening, Avenatti has also said that his client has received threats of “physical harm” if she keeps speaking about the affair with Trump.

I’m presuming it’s not from Melania Trump.
