Ambassador Nikki Haley Has a Message for North Korea: "We're Not Playing!" (VIDEO)

On Saturday, the U.N. Security Council sent a clear message to North Korea and the little maniac who runs the place that the world is watching, and enough is enough.

By a unanimous vote, the Council agreed to place sanctions on the rogue nation for its ballistic missile testing and the pursuit of nuclear weapons.

Said U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley:

“It is time for North Korea to realize, we are not playing anymore,” Haley said on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo.”

By “not playing,” she’s referring to sanctions that are going to hit hard and be felt immediately.

The targeted areas of export are seafood, coal, and iron.

“A third of their trade exports have been hit, and we basically gave them a kick in the gut with a billion dollars of sanctions that they are going to begin to feel right away,” she continued, adding that the measure “sends a really strong message.”

“They can either respond by pulling back and saying that they are not going to be a part of this reckless activity anymore or they can see where it goes. And we’ll continue to keep up the strength, and keep up the activity and make sure that we stop them,” Haley said.

Indeed. It’s always a threat to peace when someone of Kim Jong-un’s level of brutal and unhinged fanaticism gets their hands on dangerous weaponry. It’s all the more so when they discover how to make it for themselves.

National security adviser, H.R. McMaster, in showing how serious the U.S. is about stopping Jong-un, has suggested that military actions to stop his advance is not out of the question.

“If they had nuclear weapons that can threaten the United States, it’s intolerable from the president’s perspective. Of course, we have to provide all options to do that, and that includes a military option,” McMaster told MSNBC in an interview that aired Saturday.

And the hope is that war is an absolute last resort, but we all know, there are times when force is a necessary evil.
