Nothing left to do now but hold another campaign rally to get his ego stroked!

At least, that’s what President Trump has on the agenda for next week.

The campaign-style event will take place on Aug. 3 at a 9,000-seat arena in Huntington, the second-largest city in a state Trump won big in the 2016 presidential election.

Trump has already held a number of campaign rallies since he was inaugurated six months ago, unusual for a president this early in his first term.

Between campaign rallies for a campaign he’s already won, golfing outings, and Twitter time, it’s no wonder the Trump agenda is not being met. Instead of taking the lead, he’s assigning Yes-men to hold down the fort while he attempts to continue to have the lifestyle he enjoyed before his vanity campaign.

A leader leads. By that, I mean they stay on topic, gather allies in Congress and work to push their agenda through, backed by the coalition of lawmakers they’ve drawn to their side.

Trump has spent six months complaining and attacking the very ones he needed to make this passage of the GOP Obamacare replacement bill happen.

For the past several weeks, he’s attacked Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and by doing so, alienated a lot of would-be allies.

Trump vented his frustration on Twitter early Friday morning.

“3 Republicans and 48 Democrats let the American people down. As I said from the beginning, let ObamaCare implode, then deal. Watch!” he tweeted.

It’s not your job to view the action from one of your resorts, or to rush to a rally to have your adoring fans make you feel invincible again, Mr. President.

It’s your job to lead, and you’re not doing it.
