In Late Evening Dinner, Trump Calls in Reinforcements for His Next Humiliation Campaign

This is how you get a good propaganda network rolling.

President Trump hosted a late dinner at the White House on Wednesday evening with Bill Shine, the former co-president of Fox News, Bill Shine, loyalist, Sean Hannity, and newly minted White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci.

The dinner at the White House was intended to focus on the president’s political strategy, a senior administration official told The Washington Post.

It was also meant as an opportunity for a discussion on shaking up the West Wing staff, according to the Post.

Trump calls in Sean Hannity to talk about political strategy and discuss staffing issues?

It may have a lot to do with Scaramucci’s recent targeting of White House chief of staff Reince Priebus on social media.

Scaramucci had a Trumpidian Twitter fit on Wednesday, threatening to go to the FBI over leaks of his financial disclosures, and not-so-subtly tagged Priebus in those threats.

In an earlier post here, Brad Slager pointed out there was no need to leak. The information was open to the public for the asking.

Later, Hannity tweeted out his approval.

I do have to point out that the original tweet by Scaramucci has since been deleted. Presumably, that happened after it was pointed out to Scaramucci that the information he thought was leaked wasn’t leaked. It was requested, then made available, in a perfectly legal manner.

So while Scaramucci is vowing to “end the leaks” in the White House, we can just about predict what Hannity’s role will be for the next several weeks – pound away at Reince Priebus.

Priebus is about to get the Jeff Sessions treatment, although, it may not have quite the same impact on those watching from the sidelines as has been generated by the Trump-Sessions row.

Priebus pretty much solidified his role as groveling eunuch when he appeared on that insane praise video, touting the “blessing” of being “allowed” to work for Trump’s agenda.

If he’s being thrown under the bus now, maybe he should do a more thorough examination of just where he was when he lost his soul.

I’m going to guess he left it somewhere on the floor of the Quickens Loan Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, a year back.
