President Trump was, once again, faced with questions about his ties to Russia, or those involving his aides and associates.

“I haven’t called Russia in 10 years,” he told a reporter who asked him whether a special prosecutor should carry out an investigation.
Seconds earlier, he mouthed the word “no” to a gathering of health insurance executives he was meeting with at the White House.
Honestly, just speaking with Russian President Vladimir Putin is not a problem. At some point, he has to, given the job.
I think what keeps this topic hot is the fact that he’s spent so much time lauding Putin, calling for a warmer relationship, that it makes more rational thinkers a bit nervous.
Trump and Putin did speak on January 28, by phone. Not out of the ordinary, since Trump had been inaugurated a week earlier.
