I heard Laura Ingraham and Michelle Malkin promoting the Code Red Rally this morning. Apparently, Rush is talking about it now. Its time to join the promotion. On December 15th at 1:00, a rally to oppose the government take over of health care will be held at the Capitol Building and the Mall in Washington D.C.
This is short notice, so its important to spread the word. Its tough to engage in perpetual activism. But every now and then, we must flex our muscles and show the establishment, the Democratic, Republican and media establishment, that we will not waver, that our movement has teeth and that our hearts are still on fire.
Some big things are happening on The Hill. The Democrats are desperate to get as much accomplished before the holiday break as they can. They may claim that their reasons are symbolic and logistic, but we all know what happens when Congress goes home.
Let them go home and face their constituents. Let them start the new year behind schedule and with crippled momentum. Lets rattle their insular beltway cage one more time before we celebrate the holidays. In 2010, we regroup and win this battle of wills.

How to REALLY have this Code Red Rally have an effect
ColdWarrior (Diary) Wednesday, December 9th at 5:27PM EST (link)In my humble opinion, this Code Red rally will have far, far more impact if one or more of the speakers explain to the audience that the BEST way to strike FEAR into the incumbent congresscritters who are violating their oaths of office is by becoming a Republican Party precinct committeemen — because precinct committeemen ARE the Party; only they vote to endorse candidates in the primary elections and only they elect the leadership of the Party. I hope and pray that at least one of the speakers will implore the audience to get into REAL party political action WITHIN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY ITSELF to elect new leadership and candidates in the primary elections who will pledge to FIGHT FOR OUR INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY rather than trying to “reach across the aisle” to “make a bad bill better.”
Incumbents care about one thing only — whether they can win the next primary election. We can STRIKE FEAR in them if we conservatives take our protesting indoors and fill up the vacant voting slots — the precinct committeeman slots — within the Party itself.
Our Republican Party is at HALF STRENGTH! HALF the PC slots are vacant. It’s easy to become a voting member of the Party. Conservatives need to INVADE and TAKE BACK the Party from the RINOs and make sure better, more conservative candidates win the primary elections in 2010. Conservatives CAN accomplish that by becoming precinct committeemen. NOW. We conservative activists have to become REAL political activists in a REAL political party, carrying out the mundane tasks of electing the leadership, vetting and endorsing the candidates and educating the voters and then getting out the vote. (Actually, all of this is FUN!) With a strong conservative majority in a FULL STRENGTH Party, a political earthquake on Election Day, 2010, would be a CERTAINTY. We must back up our protests with REAL POLITICAL ACTION. Go here to learn more:

The only way to defeat the current batch of morons in Washington is for all liberty loving constitutionalists to unite, fix the GOP so we have good candidates and then vote.
