NO.

I doubt NY will ever do that (full of welfare disease). Still I want to know what this fool was thinking.

The larger question should be... Who is writing all these bills?

There are states with insurance monopolies and oligopolies seeking to protect their interests currently protected under those state laws. The insurance lobby would prefer to exert its influence at the state level.

Thanks for the idea for the new signature line. It's very fitting.

"... She's said she doesn't support the opt out. She's also said it would be very hard for her not to join a Republican health care filibuster under these circumstances."

Now we need some skeptical Dems to jump ship. We shouldnt let Landrieux, Lincoln and co hide behind an opt-out.
