in the entirety of my viewing life this guy is the most disturbing piece of crap to ever be on tv. I look forward to the day Cap & Tax goes down to defeat and GE has to start running as a business and kills MSDNC.

Rarely by accident click CNNbs, MSNbs, etc. But, the few times I surfed thru his propaganda show—-muted—–he look’s like a rabid Donkey! If you can stomach the experience—–try surfing those propaganda channels muted and get a glimse of them. They look like they’re going to jump out of the screen! I suppose those are the acts of desperation as they go thru their death throes given their abysmal ratings! Pure hate speech—-seething & rabid! Gee, wonder if I could get a discount on my cable if I eliminate those propaganda state run channels! On another note——I mute Baghdad Bob Gibbs and babbling Burton. And of course that weasel axelrod. Yuk!

Nice to see Olbermann aknowledge that MSNBC is getting its butt kicked by FOX News. I’ve not checked the ratings myself but would not be suprised if the lowest ranked show on FOX received higher ratings than Olbermann.
Someone should tell Keith that being first among underdogs is no great achievement.

One washed up news outfit ranking on another that never quite became one. This is kind of like watching some scrawny neighborhood punk brag about beating up an even bigger weakling. Pathetic, but funny to watch.

1) No, actually we made profits of nearly 1/4 billion. GE (the parent company of MSNBC) took $160 Billion in government handouts. Will MSNBC be sending that money directly back into our, the tax payer, pockets? Where is that “redistributing the wealth” attitude?

2) GE announced 2nd Quarter financials In July, with their FY2009 ending in January. So that 1/4 billion is just a (very vague) estimate and much can change between now and January.

3) From their earnings report, GE does not break down individual property earnings, they just lump them all into a cable properties group. Bean counters get a little upset announcing individual property financials like Olby did (since they can use figures to hide groups that are not doing so well financially). I am sure they are not too happy right now.

4) I am not a lawyer, but my experience working for a large, multi-national corporation (and sitting in on a few divisional financial meetings), divulging this kind of financial information without a proper filing is something the SEC does not look upon kindly – I know there was restrictions on what I could and could not say (as well as my own personal stock trading). If he was giving out publically announced estimates, then that is one thing, but since they do not break down the figures for MSNBC in their reports, this may not be kosher.

This guy can babble on about the most inane and inconsequential of topics as though everything he says is informing you of the most important news of the year.

“The LA Times dissed me! The mean man who did so worked for Laura Bush! I had 2.2 million viewers once! A lot of young people watch my show! You are all the worst person in the world for making fun of me!”

While I’m at it, Keith, where are your guests who aren’t synchophants? Can’t you stand up to anyone in person who disagrees with you? Other shows on MSNBC at least offer glimpses of the opposition while shouting them down, but you’ve never had a guest who wasn’t a ‘nodder’ agreeing with your every word.

I am reminded now to mute my TV on Football Night in America this fall, when he comes on.
