ACORN: The Dominoes Are Falling

One of the most important news stories not being covered by the MSM is also one of the most delicious. Prosecutors around the country are slowly tightening the noose around ACORN.

In Nevada, prosecutors are taking down field agents, exchanging pleas for testimony, and moving up the ladder. Last month, they brought charges against Christopher Edwards, a Las Vegas ACORN field agent. This week Edwards agreed to testify against Amy Busefink, a former regional voter registration director. Edwards also agreed to testify against the organization itself. ACORN’s legal status in Nevada is in serious jeopardy.

Of course, the criminals associated with ACORN will find a new organization to infiltrate, but that organization will not have the same infrastructure and effectiveness as ACORN. In the meantime, the Democrats and their “community organizations” will be discredited just like their favored unions.

Liberals may cry “brownshirts” and scream “”fascists”. But, from the SEIU to ACORN, conservatives are compiling a dossier of their criminal, violent and subversive activities that cannot be ignored. This is not hyperbole or partisan rhetoric.

Diligent prosecutors around the country are exposing this massive criminal enterprise with no help from the Federal government. A criminal enterprise that is funded and supported by the Democratic Party.

Voting is a civil right. The way I see it, law abiding citizens of Nevada had their civil rights violated. Voter fraud undermines the value of each individual legal vote. Where is the Justice Department? Where is Eric Holder? Where is the ACLU?

Perhaps, some crafty attorneys can get a class certified and file a class action lawsuit against ACORN. The Left likes litigation. Lets tag them with their own case law. We know they have deep pockets courtesy of the U.S. taxpayer.

Pennsylvania is fighting back. Nevada is fighting back. Ask the leaders of your state what they are doing to rid our Republic of this plague.

And still ACORN receives federal dollars

that they are probably using to defend their corrupt organization.

The checks need to stop flowing to ACORN.

That will shut them down. If the NUTS don’t get the feed then they will leave.

The point cannot be made often enough: Modern liberalism, as embodied in the Obama presidency, is the defender of the status quo. And the status quo is a road to economic ruin. Political forces cannot redistribute the wealth that the economic system does not produce.

Swamp Yankee- I don't have your confidence

Scope (Diary) Sunday, August 23rd at 8:30PM EST (link)

ACORN, and now Seiu/union of your choice, have been so well funded by the Obama/Liberals that they will do more damage in the upcoming elections than anything you have ever seen. They have the majority now, and they will do everything thay can to keep that majority. One day I am confident in what the American people are doing/saying, and then the next day I literally find myself in tears at what is happening. It’s not all happining in the open, it’s happening behind the scenes, and that is what scares the heck out of me. I guess I just don’t have the confidense that you do, that the well infiltrated legal system will ever do anything major against ACORN, or any other of there vast affilates.

They've Always Been There

Swamp_Yankee (Diary) Sunday, August 23rd at 8:41PM EST (link)

It’s just now they are exposed. Just like guys like Ayers and Alinski have long been the masterminds, unions and community organizations have long powered the Democratic Party. They’ve always been laboring behind the scenes, so I don’t think much will change with respect to their power. Its just that independents and the ethic-mnded will see the real nature of the Dems.

If anything enthusiasm might wane. Liberals let themselves believe that liberal government will provide fulfillment. A lot are becoming disillusioned in eight short months. If they get what they want, they will no better off. If they don’t, they only have Obama and the Dems to blame. Once they realize that mean old corporate white guys aren’t responsible for their lot in life, their enthusiasm will wane.

SY, this is one of your greatest gifts: you see trends emerging - keep it up brother - nt

Where is Eric Holder?

Letting New Black Panthers go.

None of this is by accident, what you are seeing is the “leg sweep” being executed against the nation. The Dems figure it is now or never. But remember, they are not all in this for the same reasons.

I put together a list on my website trying to find the motivations of the people involved. Go and visit and give me your opinions. I got up to seven agendas, all intermingled but separate in their basic goals.

I wrote a novel about these events twelve years ago. Back then everybody laughed. I shelved it. Last summer I picked it back up and working on getting it published. It is called “Revolt”

Here is the link to the list.

Is Jindal investigating their base of operations in LA?...

JadedByPolitics (Diary) Monday, August 24th at 10:53AM EST (link)

I think you have to dismantle that address in LA and pick it apart to get to the whole of the criminal enterprise. I thought I had read he was doing that but nothing in a few weeks on that front, anyone seen anything?

American Spectator Tracks ACORNS Demise

Swamp_Yankee (Diary) Wednesday, August 26th at 8:10AM EST (link)

“According to Inman, so far this year ACORN has closed many of its offices nationwide. Offices in Ohio (Dayton and Columbus), Michigan (Grand Rapids), and Texas have closed their doors. The offices in Oakland, California, and in her hometown of St. Paul are barely operating, she said “This is the first time in Minnesota that the office has gone dormant after an election,” she said.”

How might RICO play into this?

The_Gadfly (Diary) Wednesday, August 26th at 3:56PM EST (link)

I know there are clauses that carve out protections for unions, but what about ACORN?

Not that I have any hope Holder would prosecute, but it sure would do my heart good to see some other attorney do so. Until we get the elections process cleaned up, we’ll keep losing even when we win.
