a 3 day tracking poll. Mathematically that means that to get a 2 point one day move means that the day that dropped off and the one that was added had a 6 point differential.

The $64 question is whether this reflects actual movement or is just a statistical aberation that caught opposite sides of the MOE. So, what happens over the next 2 days will tell a lot as to whether the new, aggressive tone is gaining traction.

This election is going to be determined by voter turnout and who the undecided are going to vote for. Those indecided need to be hammered about his association with these nuts. For example, Newsweek has a poll out with Obama up 11 points. Numbers like that are designed to make us quit….until you take a good look at the internals of the poll.
The Newsweek poll is of registered voters and they included 40% Democrats and 27% Republicans in their biased poll. The real kicker is that the poll shows McCain LEADING among independents 45% – 43%. Don’t believe the Obama/MSM spin folks, this race is close and is all about turnout!!!!!! We will be victorious come election day if we get our voters out to the polls.

The answer is Timothy McVeigh. The two are very much alike, except that McVeigh is dead, executed for his murders, and Ayers is teaching education courses at University of Illinois-Chicago, in spite of his murders.

Is this really something we should be happy about? McCain is smearing a congressman that he has said he “respects”. He will do anything to get elected and that is repugnant and is just another obvious flaw in McCain. The saying goes “lesser of two evils”, and in this election the choice is not so obvious as one would assume.

If for the party to win this election is it really worth the price we are paying in dignity and honor? Or how about the principles we are giving up when we plug our noses and pull the lever for McCain? I’m telling you, it’s just not worth it.

Folks, McCain is hanging in there. Oddly, all the polls are at the same place, about McCain six points down. Given the usually pro-Democrat bias in polls, I’ll factor in 2 points. McCain is about four points down.

Only one President in history has won an election when his party was in office when a major economic decline happened, just one.

I’m not a McCain fan, but give him a break. This campaign has a shot.
