Isn’t it a fact that, this is not a power enumerated to the federal government , it actually belongs to the states, that they are co-opting, so why can’t the states pass laws nullifying it?
We know Congress has been stealing power from the states via the commerce clause for years. This furthers the need for term limits, and restoring to the states, their powers as the founders intended.
The chains of slavery, will lie heavier on the shoulders of our children, the way this is shaping up, educate them teach them our history and get active in every way you can, to stop these fascists.Our history expects no less from every generation!

Congress passed the faux “pay-go” bill (no new spending without a cut in existing spending), then promptly violated it with the bill that Sen Bunning (R-KY) put the brakes on. Why COULDN’T this money have come out of the $503,300,000,000 that’s just sitting there, thereby obeying a law so recently passed?

They’re obviously saving the Stimulus money to stimulate dem voter turnout in November. See what happens this summer. While it will no doubt be hidden carefully in some unreadable legalese bill, someone like Rep Paul Ryan (R-WI) will actually read this mess and publicize it.

BTW, why isn’t my Senator, Richard Burr, on your “vote for these guys” list? He’s got a 100% approval rating from the American Conservative Union, as does S Dakota’s John Thune, also up for re-election in Nov.

It is a done deal. I told you this last year. Pelosi and Obama have convinced the Democrats that if they dont vote for it that it wiill be worse as the people expect a bill and will look on them as failures. There is also the fact that for the last twenty years that people have returned over 90% of the incumbents to office and son they think that Novemeber will not be any diffferent. This is what happens when there is twenty years of Apathy and people are gullible, mis-informed and un-informed, Our Culture has evolved to people getting their information from David Letterman and SNL, They cant separate fantasy from reality or Satire and comedy from the real deal because they dont have the basics to interpret it. They dont see that home prices increased 100% between 2000-2007 but wages only increased 2% and the population increase was flat or little and the bubble burst, They dont see that the tipping point for it was in 1999 under Clinton. They have been brainwashed to believe it was the Bush tax cuts, They alos believed the last 8 year myth even though the Demcrats were the majority party since January 2007. The transformation from well informed etc to dummy was completed in 2008 and the deal is done.

Agree 100% with SusanAnn & her article. Though I live in NJ and the ruling elites here don’t care one bit about my repeated phone calls, faxes & e-mails, I keep sending them (on the hope some staffer is at least keeping statistics). Their standard boiler plate responses have not made me quit yet.

In a freedom-loving nation that on every recent poll rejects this monstruosity by a 3 to 1 margin, we can’t allow these Progressive ideologues to blatantly impose their will on us.

Those of us in the relevant states:

Call Bart Stupak and his pro-life colleagues daily and thank them for staving off this immoral, oppressive legislation for as long as they have despite the enormous pressure they’re under

Call the Dem “undecideds” in your state and get them to decide for the good of the nation, to trash the 2,700-page monster and START OVER, gradually, in incremental steps, in a truly bi-partisan way and maybe, just maybe they’ll get to keep their seats in November!

Obama promised change in his campaign speeches. what the people forgot to ask is “What Kind of Change?”. Obama and the left have had the agenda to take over Health Care and start the process of taking over private industry and socializing the country. These misguide people chose to ignore the failures of all other socialist and communist countries. They believe that they can do it right this time. What they don’t get is that socialism is a pyramid scheme. no matter how much you try to control it eventually it will crash in on itself. The liberals are trying to scare everyone in beleiving that with out the government run health care system the cost of health care will continue to skyrocket. what they don’t tell you is that by change just a few rules with very littel cost to the tax payers health care cost can be brought under control. The lies about health care reform all come for the left-wing. I am afraid now that no matter what we do they will pas this bill as is and Obama will sign it. Then the Dem’s will find out just how honest Hussein Obama is. he has never kept a promise that he has made since he has been in public office. Why would he start mow? We got Change alright but i don’t think it was the change we wanted.

It look amateurish and web sites DO matter these days. For example, try to move everything off the main page into separate category pages. You’ve already got things divided into categories, but not in their own pages with links.

Also, I did some quick searching on IL-12 (I’m in IL-18) and found among other things a wikipedia entry on your opponent, Jerry Costello.

I didn’t find a similar Wikipedia entry for you. I suggest getting someone on your campaign staff to write a biography and submit it to Wikipedia for a web page on you. (And again, yes these things matter).

I will have the bill to Repeal OBAMA-CARE in my hand when they swear me in to the House of Representatives on January 3, 2011. I will go from the ceremony to the hopper to drop it in and I will not rest until the House votes to repeal it. It will be my signature issue. I do need your help–while my opponent is widely viewed as a corrupt Chicago machine politician, he has a huge war chest. I need your help to win this election–not just for Illinois, but for America!
