Sorry about the title, but after the past couple of days it was just too much resist.
As a Kavanaugh partisan, I think he acquitted himself well today and I don’t think I’m alone.
President Trump is "riveted" and telling people, "This is why I nominated him," in a positive way, per person close to him. Talking to lots of people inside WH about how he likes how Kavanaugh is fighting back. Admires the defiance.

Judge Kavanaugh showed America exactly why I nominated him. His testimony was powerful, honest, and riveting. Democrats’ search and destroy strategy is disgraceful and this process has been a total sham and effort to delay, obstruct, and resist. The Senate must vote!

Today, Senate Republicans conducted a hearing that was fair & respectful to Judge Kavanaugh & Dr. Ford. The same cannot be said of the Democrats. Based on today & his decades of service, I stand with Judge Kavanaugh – a person of integrity & impeccable credentials. Take the vote.

Now it is confirmed that the Judiciary Committee will vote on the nomination tomorrow
BREAKING: GOP senators: Judiciary Committee to vote Friday morning on Brett Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court.
— The Associated Press (@AP) September 28, 2018
Senators emerging from meeting say plan is to vote Friday in committee and hold first procedural vote on floor on Kavanaugh nomination Saturday, teeing up confirmation vote next week. Important note: It’s not assured they have 50 votes yet but GOP leaders prepared to roll dice
— Manu Raju (@mkraju) September 28, 2018
The last line about the GOP not sure if it has 50 votes is the leftwing talking point that is trying to inject some hope into a progressive base that is sitting its own feces and rubbing them in its hair in grief. There will be 50 votes to proceed to a floor vote.

My fondest hope is that Justice Kavanaugh sees these people for what they are and holds a grudge that would make my Appalachian forebears proud.
And while we’re on the subject f*** this guy and the horse he rode in on
The message Senate Republicans are sending by holding a Committee vote tomorrow on #Kavanaugh and a full Senate vote on Saturday is that facts do not matter, survivors should stay silent, and the truth is only convenient when it fits their political agenda.
