The Russian Inspired Pro-Trump Rallies in Florida Fizzled but These Were a Yuge Success

A couple of days ago, I posted on the alleged series of pro-Trump rallies that the special counsel alleges were organized by some Russian. They went under the name of “Florida Goes Trump.” They don’t look like much. In fact, I’m waiting for Mueller to indict the “Hillary impersonator” who was supposed to appear in a cage as well as the guy who was supposed to drive the truck hauling her about because they seem to have ripped off the Russians and should be guilty of wire fraud or some other felony.

But, as Mueller’s indictment points out, the Russians also organized anti-Trump protests after the election. Here they seem to have been a lot more successful. From the indictment:

In or around November 2016, Defendants and their co-conspirators organized a rally in New York through one ORGANIZATION-controlled group designed to “show your support for President-Elect Donald Trump,” held on or about November 12, 2016. At the same time, Defendants and their co-conspirators, through another ORGANIZATION-controlled group, organized a rally in New York called “Trump is NOT my President” held on or about November 12, 2016.

That demonstration was covered live by MSNBC and by CNN.

Know who else showed up for this Russia-inspired and instigated event? Michael Moore.

Unlike the Florida Goes Trump nonsense, thousands of people in several cities participated in these rallies.

Well done, #Resistance. We’re seeing who the real Russian tools are now.
