A lot of people have noticed Nancy Pelosi isn’t at her sharpest these days. A couple of times she’s referred to President Trump as President Bush. She slurs words like she’s on a multi-day bender. And now we have this:
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., launched a filibuster of sorts in the House on Wednesday, by taking the floor to talk about the need to pass legislation to protect the Dreamers.
The House was set to start debating the Mortgage Choice Act, but Pelosi took the floor shortly after 10 a.m., and said she wanted to talk at length about immigration.
Rep. @NancyPelosi: "So I'm going to go on as long as my 'leadership minute' allows."

The catch is that there is no filibuster in the House (according to Wikipedia it was eliminated in 1842). She’s basically speaking as long as Paul Ryan wants to humor her. I suppose she’s trying to divert attention from Chuck Schumer getting his ass handed to him in the Senate today where he agreed to a spending bill that cuts part of ObamaCare–the IPAB, or death panel–and he gets nothing in return.
