There is a five alarm fire ablaze in federal agencies as the Trump transition team gains velocity. It all started a couple of weeks ago when the Trump transition sent a questionnaire to Department of Energy asking for the names of all employees engaged in perpetrating climate change fraud on the public. To say the bureaucrats at Energy were triggered and bolted for their safe space and blankeys is an understatement.
Just a few days ago, State Department functionaries took time out from undercutting US security interests to race to their fainting couches as the Trump team asked for names of bureaucrats who were involved in Hillary Clinton’s vagina-centric programs. They feared a “witch hunt.” Odd metaphor to employ considering the names they were seeking.
Now the victim count is increasing:
U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team has asked two Cabinet departments for the names of government officials working on programs to counter violent extremism, according to a document seen by Reuters and U.S. officials.
The requests to the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security involve a set of programs that seek to prevent violence by extremists of any stripe, including recruitment by militant Islamist groups within the United States and abroad.
Reuters could not determine why the Trump team asked for these names. The Trump team did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Trump has frequently criticized President Barack Obama for not doing enough to battle Islamic militants and for his refusal to use the term “radical Islam” to describe Islamic State and other militant groups.
Some career officials said they feared the incoming administration may be looking to undo the work that the Obama administration has done on countering violent extremism.
“They’re picking a few issues to ask for people’s names,” said one government official who spoke on condition of anonymity, reflecting wider fears that those who worked on such issues could be marginalized by the new administration.
The whole “countering violent extremism” is a fraudulent program. It has exactly one objective: to mainstream radical Islam as something that is not different from any other form of extremism. It seeks to conflate an international movement that has as its raison d’être the destruction of the will and ability of the West to resist Islam by use of terror. To put it on par with the pathetic losers that go out to play paintball as part of a sovereign citizens movement is insultingly dishonest. Aside from packaging radical Islam as “no big thing,” this program siphons off resources that could be used in stamping out radical Islam and suppressing the spread of the gospel of violent jihad to bullsh** operations aimed at indicting 70 year old Walter Mittys talking sedition.
Knowing who was involved in this nonsense is key. The cast of assclowns involved in this endeavor will inevitably be the most hardcore of the Obamanauts within those agencies. Even if they can’t be fired, they can be shunted aside and not allowed to work on anything of substance.
