WOW. Dem Senator Chris Murphy Is A Deranged Loon

I don’t like being made to defend Donald Trump, but as much as I dislike the guy there is a limit on what is fair.

Friday night in Miami, Florida Trump tried to burnish his Second Amendment credentials

“I think that her bodyguards should drop all weapons,” he said. “Take their guns away. She doesn’t want guns … let’s see what happens to her. Take their guns away, OK? It’d be very dangerous.”

I don’t think that is a remarkable statement at all. We proponents of gun rights have been saying for years that politicians who are anti-gun rights should be intellectually honest and give up guns for their security details. Otherwise, their objection isn’t to guns it is to you having the ability to defend yourself and they are saying that your life is not as valuable as theirs. That’s it. And that’s what Trump said. Context is critical. Trump is not calling for Clinton’s death, Mother Nature seems to have that issue solidly on track for completion, he’s saying, in English of a sort, that it would be very dangerous for Clinton to not have an armed security detail. Sane people should be able to agree on that.

But then we’d have to discount most Democrat politicians.

For instance, gun control jihadi, Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy:

This is batsh** crazy. This is crazy of the kind that needs a strait jacket and a Thorazine suppository.

And, of course, the rest of the Democrats piled on. Gabby Giffords, who, despite having been shot in the head, one would think could appreciate why people what to have weapons for self defense threw in her two cents. Trump, she said, was “reckless, irresponsible and unworthy of the office he seeks.” True that, but his statement doesn’t fall in that category.

It is one thing to hate trump, even loathe him, but it is entirely another matter to enable liberal Democrats to put off limits arguments, good arguments, that we have made for years. Because whether Trump wins or loses this will come up again and if we go along with it suggesting that anti-gun Democrats live as they want us to live will be clasified as an assassination threat.
