There if funny and there is creepy. And Donald Trump’s sexualization of his daughters, in my opinion, crosses the line. Not in the pedo-bear creepy kind of way but in the lecherous my-daughter-is-a-collection-of-body-parts kind of way that lets you know that’s how he’s looking at your wife or daughter or any other woman he meets.

My colleague, Neil Stevens, reported on Trump’s very un-fatherly comments about Ivanka. Now this video has come to light. It’s back a dozen wives/mistresses/girlfriends ago when Trump was married to Marla Maples.

Well, I think that she’s got a lot of Marla, she’s a really beautiful baby, and she’s got Marla’s legs. We don’t know whether she’s got this part yet [gestures toward own chest], but time will tell ..

Really. All you can say about your infant daughter is that she has her mother’s legs and imply you hope she will have her mother’s breasts. I have two daughters. Never in a million, bazillion years would I discuss either of them in such terms. If I did so, and my wife was sitting on the sofa with me, I’d probably be fatally injured. And I would deserve it.

The more you see of Donald Trump’s interactions with women the more you are faced with the inescapable conclusion that he has no use for women outside their looks. It is no surprise that he is widely loathed by women and it is difficult to imagine such a man leading this nation.
