I have two groups I want to mention today. And let me apologize too. I've been meaning to put this stuff up all week, but have been filling in at a local AM station from 6 to 9 each morning, plus fulfilling job duties and city council duties. It has taken me all week to get this stuff up.

There are two organizations out there I want to highlight on this Good Friday. Both do very good work.

The first is the Business Alliance for America's Veterans. Any business can become part of the Alliance with more information found at biz4vets.org. My friend Richard Senninger is the Executive Director. The Alliance supports protecting veterans' benefits, works on job placement for vets, regardless of any disabilities, and works to increase consumer awareness about businesses who are members of the Alliance.

The second is With My Own Eyes, which is an amazing website. The site allows people to upload first hand accounts of, well, in their own words:

With My Own Eyes provides users unique and immediate access to some of the most remote and needy areas in the world via video footage, photos and the personal diary entries of team leaders from Operation Blessing International (OBI), the humanitarian organization behind the blog, who are working in nearly-two-dozen countries around the world on a daily basis including China, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru and the USA.

There is some really amazing stuff on the site.
