but their morals, as they define them, have nothing to do with good or evil.

Instead, it is about the gain or loss of power over their fellow man. Their morals, their conception of good and evil itself, has nothing at all to do with ours. It's not even close. And when they fail, they blame someone else for their failing...

I wrote all this to try to shine a light on the thinking of liberals -- understanding your enemy is the first step to defeating him.

They lie, steal cheat and kill -- literally.. = Godlessness.

The mindless "victims" they gather collectively through false "moral" pretenses, they gather to keep themselves in power, not due to any sort of "morality."

Essentially, the evil leading the stupid.

They perpetuate the blame game / play victim to manipulate our guilt.

Our sole true guilt should lie in not having a backbone to stand up to them.

The worst thing we can do is be Pontius Pilate, who knew something was amiss, but did nothing.

Education and history is where to begin. As to your question. What is it then? Where does congressional allegiance lie.? As to the philosophy of limited government congress will attempt to ram health care legislation down a free nations throat. It is best to pull power from Washington and return it to the states. It is at the local level power is best checked. A centralized approach has never worked.
Everybody is looking towards government to put forth their agenda not through merit but by FORCE crafted in legislation. Americans are upset because we have lost the representation that was present when government was closer to home and rational. The federal government has literally corrupted our ability to forge our life without apprehension. This is accomplished by the constant drip of new regulation, restrictions and fear. Legislation is accompanied by slogans such as for your safety, do it for the children or the coming apocalypse of global warming.

CATO on power “Only the checks put upon magistrates make nations free; and only the want of such checks makes them slaves. They are free, where their magistrates are confined within certain bounds set them by the people … And they are slaves, where the magistrates choose their own rules, and follow their lust and humours; than which a more dreadful curse can befall no people … and therefore most nations in the world are undone, and those nations only who bridle their governors do not wear chains”.

Richard Rumbold.”I may say this is a deluded generation, veiled with ignorance, that though popery and slavery be riding in upon them, do not perceive it; though I am sure there was no man born marked of God above another, for none comes into the world with a saddle on his back, neither any booted and spurred to ride him.”
