I agree about the name calling. I don’t unless I get pushed to a point where I finally have to tell someone they really are stupid and it takes a lot to get me to that point. However, there does come a time when you have to look at it as being “cruel to be kind.”

Besides, there’s a way to throw the ball back to them by adding the phrase: “if you think you’re that (fill in the blank)…”

Really, try it with any name you want to call them. They shut up fairly quickly.

Hung over Democrats at the tea party yesterday, it’s not the change they had in mind. More like bait and switch.

Let’s get a list of the corporations buying ad time on CNN, MSNBC, et al.

Then let’s tell them they’ve lost our business until they change how they spend their advertising dollars.

For President Zero to say he wasn’t “paying attention”, for Napolitano to release the HSA report on the day of the events, and for the knuckleheads in the media to make fun of the people who were at these events is just plain stupid. These are the same voters who voted out the Republicans, not because they believed in the Democratic policies, but because they were fed up with being taken advantage of by the Republicans in Congress.

The GOP needs to listen to these people and organize a strategy moving forward that takes this and moves forward with it. It’s clear the Democrats have no interest in having these people vote for them.

The lefties can’t help themselves and had to put it in every comment they made on the discussion forum at the bottom of the online articles.

One quick complaint with a suggestion to google the term resulted in the editor making a blanket decision that all posts with the term would be deleted.

I have just read a number of articles all of them attempting to further marginalize the people who attended all of these events across the country yesterday.

From the CNN Reporter in Chicago to those whom are labeling this as knee-jerk non grass roots, in fact labeling it all as an “astro-turf” movement from an angry defeated GOP; they are all in denial and only go onto villify the citizens that truned out.

The vast majority of the people out there have never protested ANYTHING in their lives. Most of them have been too busy WORKING & providing for themselves and their families. They are outraged and it crosses all party lines on this issue this awakening by the population is a revolution in the return of common sense. THEY ARE DISGUSTED THAT 90% OF EVERY DOLLAR IN THIS “STIMULUS” IS POLITICAL PAYBACK.

I was proud of the turnout across the country & it is encouraging. I am proud that for the most part any politician that volunteered their oratory skills were politely declined. Most of all as angry as they were about the government’s attitude of, “I can’t be broke, I still have checks left”, I have yet to hear of any incidences of VIOLENCE.

Correct me if I am wrong on that last point, but no violence, unlike the G20 or anything sponsored by the ANSWERs of the world took place here. So obviously the Extremists contained themselves; you can sigh a breathe of relief Secretary Napolitano, & for those in the leadership of the Congress they can just keep on issuing their nitwit Marie Antoinettesque statements about their citizens attempts at redress at their own peril.

But Anderson Cooper seems to veeeery familiar with it. I wonder why.

I don’t know what to think about these “Tea-Parties”. I paid my taxes last night. Overall, I wasn’t outraged at my tax bill (5.6% of total earnings). Actually, Social Security is just as big a tax for me as the income tax. I thought that the healthcare cost would be the worst one, but it isn’t. Federal Income Tax is first, with Social Security a close second.

When I heard that the Dem’s proposed that the Mortgage Interest deduction would go away, I was really worried, but actually it doesn’t help me much anyways. Neither does charitable giving. I just don’t make much money, so it is hard for me to go over the standard deduction. The carbon tax or cap&trade or whatever they call the new energy tax is going to hurt some, but my cars are pretty fuel efficient. We will just be more careful about taking family trips.

I think the new carbon taxes will destroy “Horse People”, “Out-Door water-craft” folks and the RV lifestyle. These folks will be really upset, but I’m just not sure these tax increases are going to be so bad for me personally. And if we wind up importing less oil from Saudi because of the policy, then maybe it won’t be all bad.

I guess I’m much more worried that the Obama Administration will refuse to allow Goldman-Sachs to pay back their bailout, and will demand the interest coupon as a “tax” on a company that wants to pay back the bailout money but isn’t allowed. This would be BAD …

Or: “Maddow had Cox on her show the other night.” (Not technically a double-entendre; people would only interpret it one way…)

Yesterday’s tea parties all across the nation sends a powerful message to the socialists that the American people will not succumb quietly to their agenda. It is also indicative of the fact that we are the strongest when we stay true to our root principles. This movement will grow stronger by the day and we will attract many more followers as Obama’s socialist policies crash on the rock on the fiscal irresponsibility and government waste.

The truth about most political movements is that they all form around a faithful and resilient core. What made Obama’s movement so much stronger than Kerry’s was precisely its radicalism and implacable enmity toward capitalist America. Why is it that Obama was able to attract individuals such as Buckley’s son and other Republicans, who in ordinary circumstances, would recejt socialism? It was the strength of their confidence and activism.

Hence, those who advocate moving closer toward center and water down Republican ideals such as small government and strong defense are leading us down the wrong path. The Republicans will reclaim the levers of power when they demonstrate that they remain true to the ideals of Reagan and the values of the Republic. People will follow strength, confidence and principled resilience. They will not follow weakness, wishy-washiness and “bipartisanship”. It is time for us to lead. And yesterday we made a significant move in that direction.

when we hear that Obama wasn’t aware of the Tea Parties and how Pelosi was completely dismissive of them. No doubt, that was exactly how King George and his court reacted when those rabble-rousers in the colonies started speaking of independence and revolution.
