OK, so I’ve been critical of Birthers posts, and here I am posting one, so Pot calling Kettle Black…guilty as charged.
But this is a slightly different news item, one that is sure to make some RS Birthers heads spin and maybe even explode. This is just sad…very sad news.

Writing and commenting is not about "impressing" anybody

And then presenting them in a way that highlights them and lays out a road map to political strategy that reaches a desired endpoint in a current battle.
It’s also important to bring to the table opinion – labeled as such – for a similar purpose.
You add nothing here at Redstate – NOTHING – but distraction. This whole birth cert subject, your pathetic little bloggyhorse, adds nothing to any debate nor does it give the Republican Party any strategic or tactical advantage in the effort to stop the train of current legislation rolling through the Congress. It does nothing to helping us win in 2010.
If you think that current piece of legislative crap requiring proof of natural citizenship is going anywhere you are every bit as stupid as you’ve repeatedly shown you are. It won’t even get into committee let alone get out and it’s generally looked upon as similar in purpose to a Congressional investigation of the gunmen at the grassy knoll and would likely be supported by the same people.
You are an embarrassment to this site. Redstate is filled with folks who write thoughtful pieces on important subject. And then there is you trolling around. You would be a hero if you posted your crap over here and you’d be welcomed here they have about the same ability to discern the truth as you.

So why would anyone sponsor such a bill? And why in the world would 10 Republicans sign on to it as co-sponsors of the bill?
Leadership.
It is meant to be an example to the states so that Republicans in the red state legislatures can copy it and create a system to expose people who can’t (or won’t) show that they are legally qualified to run for POTUS. This maneuver has already created the desired effect at the state level and will force candidates in those states to show proof of eligibility before they can appear on that state’s ballot.
So, if Obama wants to run for re-election, he is going to have to surrender a copy of his original birth certificate or be denied those state’s electoral votes. He won’t surrender it. Therefore he will not be a candidate in 2012. So that means the GOP has a 50% better chance of having a Republican in the White House. I would call that a strategic victory.

Yes, I want victory. I just happen to be smart enough to realize that your foolishness is not the way to anything that even remotely resembles victory. Victory comes when we sell the conservative ideals and issues to the American people, see Reagan and Gingrich in ’94. We lose when we tilt at windmills, see Bush in ’92, the whole damn party in ’96 & ’98 with the impeachment foolishness and Bush again in ’06 & McCain in ’08.
