I thought it would be nice to get some conversation going for what Redstaters can do at T.E.A. parties scheduled for tomorrow.
My thoughts below:
T.E.A. parties need to be about more than just taxation, Porkulus, Obama, GM, AIG, or any other TARP receipient.
It must be clear that we are facing a crisis of Freedom! Fiscal Sovereignty, Social Sovereignty, and well plain old sovereignty of the people, by the people, and for the people. It’s called Usurpation by Usury. And that’s Obama’s end game.
- We are facing inflation without representation. The cost of assumed debt ownership where others did the underwriting and then passed off toxic paper to U.S. Treasury at the expense of taxpayers of the present and future, in a lame hope that Keynes was right.
- Nationalization of the banks, insurance, and private industry is only a hop away from Socialistic Communism… the skip(Porkulus) and the jump(TARP) have been completed.
- Global nationalization is only the next logical step isn’t it?
So why should you be worried about Fiscal issues if you’re a SoCon or a DefCon…?
What Socialist country cares about morality?
What Communist country care about the defense of its people let alone its morality?
I would hope that conservatives and ALL ELSE WHO ENJOY FREEDOM… take part in a T.E.A. Party tomorrow.
I would hope that Redstaters are prepared to tell others about Redstate.com and speak up about the things you’ve gained from this community of online activists.
P.S. My small town of Twin Falls ID will have two parties at the courthouse at 12 noon and 5PM. What to bring? You decide… its your country.

We do need to understand why we’re doing this and see if we can work towards a consensus of actual attendees. Since it’s a REAL grass roots effort the message has not been consolidated, focus-group tested, or anything else. It is just raw and of the people.

Myself and others in my town have found ourselves taking the podium at a moments notice in local meetups… I hope that if fellow RS members find themselves at Tea Parties, they have some thoughts prepared for sharing in case some partisan rally shakes out. I’d like to hear the ideas for sure.
The local GOP officers showed up and tried to hijack meetups already and turn them into GOP rallies.
It ticked off a lot of my libertarian friends…
I’d also like to see an open thread tomorrow of Tea Party reporting from the locals.

Some people think it is about party politics and displeasure with the current administration. While a great many are fearful where our country is headed, it is not party politics. It is a fundamental disagreement over government’s role.
In particular, we believe the government is far too big already. Yes, this includes the previous administrations excess spending and the idea of bailouts to banks. The plans of the current administration are to make it even bigger. We resent the intrusion and control of government into our lives and liberties. This is a key factor prompting protests.
Take note elected officials regardless if you wear a Democrat or Republican label. The message is clear! Stop the spending. Stop the additional taxation, especially the hidden taxes in the form of increased prices passed on by industries overwhelmed by government meddling and targeted taxing.
