The answer is very simple, because she is not a Washington Insider. WE THE PEOPLE in this country really need to wise up. I don’t care if you are a republican or a democrat. Republican’s can’t be so naive to think that if McCain had been elected things would be any different right now. This country is heading down the path to communism, the only difference is with Obama, it’s in the fast lane! With McCain, it would take a little longer. Please do not fool yourself into thinking that McCain or many of the Republicans in Washington are any different!
Sarah Palin, on the other hand, battled her own party exposing the corruption. I have NO DOUBT that should she become president, the first thing she would do is audit the feds and ACORN. The next thing she would do is release the US from under UN control. She would not appoint the same people into powerful positions in this country. Getting back to the wising up statement, the people that Obama has put into power are the same people that have been in power for the last 20 years, he just played musical chairs. Wake up people, there is no change with Obama; it is more of the same elitist moving this country to communism except on the fast track!
Palin has proven she can’t be bought and she does not go along with the status quo. She shakes things up and doesn’t fear big oil! She would put her foot down just as Reagan did. Obama, McCain, Bush 41 and 43, Clinton, they are all guilty of having their hand in the cookie jar of corruption and big business! Goldman Sachs never paid any taxes last year and they are first in line to make millions of dollars should Cap and Trade be implemented. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, ING, Goldman, Feds, all the big banks, are all run by friends and family of BOTH parties in Washington.
Sarah Palin has NO friends in Washington or New York. She puts the country first and not big business or big oil. For that, the left hates her as well as many on the right. They do not want Sarah coming into Washington and taking their cash cows and power from them. She WOULD expose what is really going on in the country!

Hey Keepercraft...
speciallist (Diary) Thursday, July 16th at 2:35PM EST (link)why don’t you stay of our pro-Sarah diaries and go write another one bashing her…..
Its a fair question
keeper (Diary) Thursday, July 16th at 3:30PM EST (link)given the subject of the diary entry.
The theme is that the left and some on the right fear her and that politics as usual in DC is broken. The diarist accuses both sides and suggests Palin as a Washington outsider who can represent the people can set things straight. So why tie herself to either one of the guilty parties?
Its just a question, no need to throw a hissy fit over it.
Keeper
aesthete (Diary) Thursday, July 16th at 5:18PM EST (link)You seriously have to let up on your trolling of Sarah Palin diaries. How is the question here not related to the diary?
keeper (Diary) Thursday, July 16th at 5:33PM EST (link)If the diarist is suggesting people from both sides fear Palin and that both sides are part of the Washington problem and Palin can come as an outsider to fix things. Is it not ok then to ask the diarist what he/she thinks of the Palin independent option?
Huckabee even raised the question cause I think some people are interpreting or projecting that on to Palin given her comments. I am curious as to what the diarist thought, thats all.
In none of my other posts have I mentioned Palin as a third party candidate, just here.
Keeper...
discerningconservative (Diary) Thursday, July 16th at 5:44PM EST (link)I have a couple of questions for you…
1. Are you interested in promoting conservatism, or are you just here to bash Sarah Palin? I haven’t seen any comments from you that lead me to believe that you are interested in promoting conservative/republican principals. That is what this site is intended for.
2. Why is it important to discuss Sarah Palin at this stage? She is leaving her position as Governor in a little over a week, so she basically holds no relevance at this point in time. If she writes more op-eds and stumps for candidates, how is that a bad thing for conservatives/republicans?
As far as 3rd party talks, don’t you think it would be best to discuss that IF she decides to run for office again? Right now the focus should be on the 2010 elections and gaining back as many house/senate seats as possible as well as Governor posts.

Keeper, read this
Vegas_Rick (Diary) Thursday, July 16th at 10:32PM EST (link)I’ve had a lot of fun tweaking you that last few days. Why do I take pleasure in it? Because you are an annoying poster.
This comment is well meant and is intended to help you if you intend to hang around here for a while. You should have noticed by now that you’re not real popular. Even the other Palin haters are annoyed with you. Why?
1. You don’t acknowledge direct responses to your comments. You act as if they were not written and ask the next person the same question. Or, you answer in the abstract, essentially changing the subject. What’s the point in trying to intelligently respond to you if you’re going to ignore it anyway?
2. Your assertions are usually based on feelings or your personal opinion, not factual evidence. I think, I feel and In my opinion, don’t carry much weight around here if they are not supported by facts and/or evidence.
3. When you do attempt to provide evidence or facts, it is often intentionally vague, incomplete or out of context. Like above:
“Huckabee even raised the question cause I think some people are interpreting or projecting that on to Palin given her comments.”
“…cause I think….”
I had to prompt you for a quote. You gave an incomplete pair of quotes, out of context.
4. I’m not the sharpest tack in the box. But you’ve got to bring more to the game to keep a serious discussion going. There are some very keen minds here, most of who have not been interested enough to comment on you or your thoughts. If you do find yourself in a debate with some of our heavy hitters, you had better up your game.
5. Last thing. If you’ve read much of this site you should have noticed that diarist don’t post attack diaries about conservatives or Republicans. Unless they are in office, and misbehave in some way. You shouldn’t either.

I can't honestly take you serious anymore
keeper (Diary) Thursday, July 16th at 11:33PM EST (link)or think that you are genuine in anything you post. But I’ll answer your points anyways.
1. Most if not all of your and other Pro-Palinites responses have been personal insults and generally ridiculous statements so they aren’t really worth responding too. The ones I do are as you put it, just fun tweaking with a little bit of debate thrown in. If you start making serious intellectual response you’d get one back.
2. I’d disagree with that but even still this is not just about spewing facts but sharing our opinions, thoughts and ideas about those facts. It would be a very boring place if you post “Palin to Resign” and leave it at that I want to hear what people think, Is it a good thing? A bad thing? How will it affect Alaska? The GOP? We have no facts on any of that so we shouldn’t discuss it?
3. You posted a comment that seemed to suggest I was the main one speculating about the third party concern.
“I think some people are interpreting or projecting that on to Palin given her comments”
Really? “Some people”. Not you, of course.
So I posted a couple quotes with links from conservatives. Then you make an accusation with no facts, no proof to back up.
4. Your advice and self-deprecating humor is noted. You also might want to listen to some of your own advice on this one too.
5. Misbehavior is a subjective topic. There is quite obviously no universal definition when it comes to politics.
So now you start attacking the good faith of long-time RedStaters

To respond, Keeper:
aesthete (Diary) Thursday, July 16th at 11:16PM EST (link)To start, the question that you asked, in and of itself, is borderline not-OK, for the same reason that it is not OK for me to ask as a one-liner, “Do you think Big Oil should be taxed?”, and that is because it is peripheral to the main contention of the piece (the idea that one of Sarah Palin’s main assets is her non-familiarity with the Washington machine).
But to me, the larger concern with your post is your penchant to exclusively comment on the subject of Sarah Palin, and to vociferously object to pro-Palin postings. When we know nothing about your politics or persona, except that you really have something against Sarah Palin, Can you blame us for not being able to see past the anti-Palin image that you have presented?
I’m sure that you don’t just sit in your room all day and all night, plotting your revenge on Mrs. Palin, and that your political thought doesn’t start and end at Wasillia, AK; at least, I hope not! Show us that you are capable of furthering conservative thought, and I assure you, you will earn the right to critique Sarah Palin (though we’ll still likely rag on you if that critique is emotional). This critique will not only be more respected, but also, will come at a time when it would be appropriate, after 2010, and after we get more information on Mrs. Palin’s post-Gov. career.
My advice: lay off of Sarah Palin for now, and post on other conservative issues (-prays that keeper posts on 2010 stuff in his state-

Rush hasn’t spent alot of time in talking about Palin’s resignation. By the time he got back from vacation, it was already old news. On Monday, he agreed that she needed to get out of Alaska, and to spend time here in the lower 48. Today he talked about a new Gallup Poll that gathered information on who the Republicans see as the top R for 2012- Romney 26%, Palin 21% and Huckabee 19%. Approval ratings- Palin 72%, Romney 50 something % and Huckabee far less. I agree with Rush that that is remarkable that her approval ratings are so high, after she made her resignation announcement, and after taking a beating in the media fr the past year.
Again, I really could care less who runs for what in 2012, however, still being seen so favorably means she can still attract big crowds, and big dollars for the takeback of the House and Senate in 2010.
Weak arguments
aesthete (Diary) Thursday, July 16th at 5:08PM EST (link)If your main criterion for the acceptability of a candidate is that he/she isn’t a “Washington Insider” (a nebulously-defined buzzword, in it’s own right), then consider that Mao wasn’t a “Beijing Insider”, nor was Fidel Castro a “Havana Insider”. Several other examples (Hitler, Lenin, etc) come to mind. I personally can’t think of a more puerile standard on which to judge a candidate.
As to this quote:
“I have NO DOUBT that should she become president, the first thing she would do is audit the feds and ACORN. The next thing she would do is release the US from under UN control.”
What evidence do you have to support these claims? Is it rhetorical evidence, or is it based on policies implemented in her tenure as Governor? If there’s no evidence to back up your claims, consider that history is littered with the bodies of people whose faith in a given candidate, party, or ideology was based on little more than vapor and rhetoric.
The glaring lack of examination of Mrs. Palin’s record really doesn’t do her, or your readership, any favors.
