Insofar as the opposition to the recently enacted Arizona illegal immigration law seems to be mounting, perhaps those who oppose it so stringently should take a few minutes to read it. The language is very simple and easy to understand, and the law does NOT provide the basis for “racial profiling” as so many say it does.

People who live and work near the Mexican border with the United States are being forced to live in a terrorist state. This includes not only Arizona, but southern California, New Mexico and Texas. Every day these people have to fear being murdered, kidnapped, held for ransom, their property stolen from them and their businesses destroyed. Is not their safety and security the responsibility and obligation of the Department of Homeland Security? If so, then why is it this agency and so many others in the federal government having such a hard time trying to decide whether to deploy federal troops to held secure that region of the United States? Why is it easier to send our troops traipsing all over the world to allegedly track down some foreign terrorist organization than it is to protect our nation?

Maybe the quotation of “give us your tired, your poor and your hungry” ought to be changed to “give us your drug cartels, criminals and terrorists”. It seems to me there are more of them entering into this coutnry illegally than there are legally.

According to a feature in CNNMoney.com, small business is in for a real surprise starting in 2012. A little provision in the health care reform legislation will now require small business to issue a IRS Form 1099 to every person or vendor to whom they pay $600.00, or more. The complete article can be viewed at:

http://money.cnn.com/2010/05/05/smallbusiness/1099_health_care_tax_change/index.htm?section=money_topstories&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+rss%2Fmoney_topstories+%28Top+Stories%29

“Section 9006 of the health care bill — just a few lines buried in the 2,409-page document — mandates that beginning in 2012 all companies will have to issue 1099 tax forms not just to contract workers but to any individual or corporation from which they buy more than $600 in goods or services in a tax year.”

The magnitude of this is the additional paperwork requirements that is being thrust onto not only small businesses, but individuals as well; and, is seen as yet another means to help pay for the cost of the health care program. Most adversely affected will be the small businesses who haven’t an accounting system, or accounting personnel, already in place.

The United States of America is under siege. Our nation is being invaded and overrun by people from other countries who are crossing our borders in clear defiance of our immigration laws. Contrary to what those who are protesting the new Arizona illegal immigration law will tell you, these people who cross our borders in ways that allow them to do so without detection are CRIMINALS. Each and every one of them!

Were someone to rob you at gunpoint, kidnap your child for use in child pornography or slavery, murder a loved one, or commit some other criminal act against you or your loved ones, you’d want that person captured, arrested, prosecuted and punished. Why then are so many Americans demonstrating to protect hundreds, if not thousands, of people who have entered into this country illegally?

Criminals who are citizens of the United States are guaranteed certain rights. Illegal immigrants are NOT citizens, and have no rights. And the illegal immigrants who invade our country should NOT be granted any level of amnesty and/or citizenship until they have been detained, prosecuted and punished in accordance with United States law.

Inasmuch as so many are protesting the Arizona law, why haven’t any of them offered some sort of an alternative means of dealing with the issue of people entering into this country illegally? Why are they so dead-set upon having these criminals granted instant amnesty, immunity from arrest and prosecution, and citizenship? Why this complete disregard for the laws of this nation?

It’s really sad that even the members of our federal government, elected by the people to represent the people, are so afraid of tackling this matter simp0ly because they fear a backlash when re-election comes around? Since when is protecting Americans and their property come second to garnering votes for election or re-election?

As if the mandated health care reform legislation and pending government take-over of the financial industry aren’t enough, perhaps our so-called elected officials had better also worry about the illegal immigration issue. It could well be there are more qualified American voters out there than there are protesters to fear. Just how much more will the general American public tolerate before they say enough is enough, and start taking matters into their own hands.

Whatever you do in the next series of elections, VOTE! But don’t vote for anyone already holding public office. Vote against them, and if they are running unopposed, write in the name of some cartoon character. But whatever you do, don’t vote for an incumbant; regardless what political affiliation they may have.

There seems to be a very simple point that our President, certain members of Congress, and a heckuva lot of Americans are missing: People who enter this country in violation of our laws are CRIMINALS! Pure and simple. And, unless our laws are nothing more than words on paper that are to mean absolutely nothing, they are in this country illegally. Each and every one of them regardless whether a murderer, thief, drug cartel member, terrorist or just plain folk, is a CRIMINAL.

And, they should be treated as such. As should each and every American who stands in the way of properly protecting our borders from the invasion of illegal aliens as well as those who help and assist those here illegally to avoid detection, arrest and deportation. Those who provide that assistance should be arrested and charged with aiding and abetting in a criminal act. They, too, are criminals.

It is nothing short of dead wrong for our federal government to continue dragging its feet with regard to taking the strong necessary action to secure our borders. Just as it is completely wrong for anyone to denounce the initiatives taken to cobat the illegal entry into this nation as Arizona has done. If the federal government isn’t willing to take responsibility for maintaining our borders, then it should be wrong for states to take action.

Our citizens, and our nation, are under seige.

I guess this is what the Aemrican people are going to have to tolerate until something meaningful can be done to prevent it. This caller demanded personal information including date of birth, SSN, and bank account or credit card information. He claimed that if I failed to provide him that information, he would make sure I was reported to the appropriate federal agencies. I dared him to do so.

The current alliance building between the Tea Party movement and the Republican Party bothers me. Politicians by any other name are still politicians. Politicians will use whatever means they must to gain office, or retain office; and, it appears to me that this is precisely what they are doing in their support for the Tea Party movement. In this case it is the Republican Party trying to garner the support of the Tea Party movement. Would it be any different were it the Democratic Party? I doubt it.
