Jan Brewer Reminds Obama Administration: Reading is Fun!

Reading is fun! And fundamental to, you know, comprehending laws prior to demonizing them. Of course, the Obama Administration and other Democrats aren’t reading the law partially so as to give themselves that whole plausible deniability cover, together with their usual childish “La la la, I can’t hear you – and don’t care to anyway” behavior, but that doesn’t fly. Willful ignorance is not a valid excuse for blatant, purposeful lying and denigrating of American citizens.

Anyway, here’s a little family fun, via Arizona Governor Jan Brewer and SecureTheBorderAZ’s new ad (H/T Ace). Your little ones can enjoy it too, while you are giggling madly (at least, I did). That’s what I call bringing people together!

Consider this an open thread.

Plausible deniability works only in the short term.

This is the first time something or someone has been demonized in spite of known facts. Over time “plausible deniability” translates into incompetence.

Good thing the American people aren’t as dumb as the politicians think they are… well, at least the majority of them aren’t as 70% support the AZ law.

We can see through it and know exactly what it is; like you said – incompetence. And utter contempt for the American people, who they erroneously believe they are so much smarter than.

I have trouble actually believing that Obama has ever actually read the Constitution.

In fact, I’ve been considering sending him a copy of it along with a copy of the Declaration of Independence, and the Magna Carta. I considered The Federalist Papers but I don’t want to overwhelm him. There’s some pretty weighty stuff in there.

“Of all tyrannies a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.” – C. S. Lewis

Oh, he's read it. Just doesn't like what's in it.

The Brewer commercial is great. Ridicule is often the sharpest sword to use against your opponet. And you can smile while twisting the blade.

… I commend my blog post On Reading…

Reading can actually be an ordeal for many very intelligent people, who have to work like hell at it, while others are blessed with a knack for it.
