I recognize and understand that many/most “lame-stream” so-called “journalists” are far to the left of most (sane) Americans, but I’ve never been able to wrap my mind around WHY!

IF they ever succeed in moving this country to the political niche they’ve been agitating for, lo these many years, they will be the first ones muzzled, carted off for midnight lobotomies, or lined up in front of the firing squads. Why? Because they cannot avoid, sooner or later, having an unacceptable sentiment expressed under their bylines, and the system they’re espousing is one that keeps track of such things.

Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch, but I’d really like to know WHY.

The republican party had better wake up. They have allowed the Democrat party and the media to define what we are about for many many years, all without much of a fight. Jim DeMint should come out immediately and blast them for any mention of his good name in that article. The media and the left will continue to discredit any of us, in any way possible until we finally demand that it stop. In the fine journalistic “tradition” of slamming both sides to make the story seem unbiased, the AP article has a lovely quote from Pete Stark.

It was California Democratic Rep. Pete Stark who said, late in the Bush administration, that Republicans want to spend money “to blow up innocent people—if we can get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the president’s amusement.”

Eileen Sullivan has a history of writing this tripe. He article, Homeland chief: Domestic extremism is top concern,about Islamic extremists (without naming them) tries to pin it on a shift from international to domestic terrorism. rather than focus on the real threat of people just wanting our country dead.

Calvin Woodward doesn’t appear to be so extreme based on his articles….however, he may just be better at hiding it than Eileen, who knows.

…to Sullivan and Woodwards piece at Breitbart were negative of the story and the administration. It’s nice to see this as it didn’t used to be that way and is further proof that the citizens are waking up to what is going on.

Hundreds of thousands of pages of laws that apply to us all. From a tax code better measured in pounds than words to a criminal code rife with perceived corruption, there are simply too many laws, rules, regulations and arbitrary enforcers for this to be called a free country.

At some point there is revolution if neither party can clean it up. That point is incredibly close.

Leftist media bias has always been a thing of contention, because the people making the accusation knew the truth, but felt isolated and unsure of whether their concerns were shared by a critical mass of Americans.

Now, people can look around them in the flesh, and see for themselves who the people are that share their concerns about government and media, and they can witness for themselves the purely organic catalyst for the movement. They are no longer isolated.

So, when the media conducts its propaganda smears, millions know exactly what the lie is and what the truth is, and those millions are not remaining silent.

Mom With A Baby On Her Hip, Grandpa, Working Joe, Veteran and the Next Door Neighbor are out, visible, seeing and interacting with each other, and for the first time, realizing that their concerns are shared by a vast, critical mass of Americans, and that the media is their enemy. Every false media proclamation of the movement’s “fringe” nature serves to solidify the media’s enemy status in the minds of the American people, and further galvanizes the movement.

I remember reading an article, about a year or so ago, that claimed that many many of the countries newspapers were not renewing their contracts for the AP wire services. How many of the rags are in healthy financial status? I suspect very few.

If anyone could gather information on the average age of the AP article writers (they are not journalists), I would be willing to bet that the majority are young enough to have received a propagandized education, from grade school through college. They have been bombarded with information that socialism is not only acceptable, but, preferable. And, add to that “if you are twenty, and not a Democrat, you don’t have a heart.”

One day, I think we will find that the AP, and some of the other MSM types, are being paid by either the Obama admin. or George Soros, or both. I disagree that the Ill. prison be used for the Gitmo detainees, we need to reserve that space for the terriorists occupying the WH, Congress, and the communists in the media.

I had always known AP to distort or omit certain truths to portray their bias.

But this is the first I’ve seen where their leftist opinion is drenched in opining bloggery.

In the future, I advise anyone having to read AP to read CliffNotes style: read the intro for 2 paragraphs, jump to the last 2 paragraphs and you have it.

That being said, the solution to this farcical piece is simple.

FIRST and FOREMOST, protect DeMint at all costs.

Second, remind everyone that it’s the left who favors motolov cocktails and rioting and calls it “Freedom of Speech.”

Remember when we trusted the AP? Even mentioning two members of Congress in the piece is beyond the pale. This guy was unbalanced and crazy. Any menion of DeMint is an attempt to taint DeMint for his correct and brave comments at CPAC.

We have the Executive branch telling the legislative branch what to do and what not to do; telling the legislative branch that they will rule by fiat (Co2 regulation) and ignore them. Executive branch publicly telling judicial branch that they are ruining the country (election speech ruling) and will be overruled. Executive branch using judicial branch to get votes (bribing Congressman with judicial appointment).
