I’m amazed someone as incompetent as Reid was able to get to such a powerful position in politics.

My biggest fear is that he’ll see the writing on the wall like Dodd did, and drop out. I REALLY want to see him get his teeth kicked in by the voters.

Under Bush, I remember when job GAINS would go from +300K one month to +200K the next (they ALWAYS zig-zag–even in the best of times, there is never a smooth upward curve), and Bush would then get crucified (mercilessly–and with disdain!) on the news about the 100K drop in jobs GAINED (again–BOTH months would STILL have HUGE job GAINS!)

They have some economist on blaming the 100K “loss” on Bush economic policies. (nevermind the fact that the 100K “loss” was STILL a +200K gain). They’d speak in hushed and ominous tones about the seriousness of the problem and what it meant for the future.

(and then there’d be silence when the jobs went back to +250K the next month)

Oh, if we could but have those kind of “problems” now!!!

But in Obamaland, a net decrease in jobs is supposedly a good thing if the loss wasn’t that large.

QUESTION: Why does the news media treat a “jobs lost” report under Obama as somehow better than a “jobs gained” report under Bush?

This is a point which really need to be driven home average Americans. It is time to “call” the Dems on this in public (as you are doing with this excellent post–we ought keep explaining this and not let it get ignored!)

If we had a Senate leader grounded in reality, the word “only” would’ve been in air quotes , followed by some sort of real proposal to stop the stupid and do something about it.

However, as the far left statists show time and time again, they aren’t grounded in reality, they’re grounded in the destruction of our country. So, sadly, for him, Obama, and Pelosi, it is a good day.

There is something seriously flawed if not WRONG when the Senate Majority Leader likens the loss of 36,000 jobs in a single 28 day period as GOOD. It is a perfect example at how out of touch elected officials such as Reid are. And to my fellow citizens in NEVADA. To re-elect this man would make you just as OUT OF TOUCH as he is!

The fact is that if it were not for the hiring of thousands for the 3 month job of taking the census the numbers would have been way beyond ONLY 36,000.

As for Ried (the Mad Hatter) I really can’t think of anything more pitiful than a lying moron. This poor soul went around the bend some time ago. It is just a matter of time before he is sent home to Nevada for proper treatment.
