I think it should be RedState policy to only promote a politicians diary to the front page if they, or at the very least a staff member, are going to spend some time answering any questions that may arise.

Otherwise I feel its at best another advertisement on the site, and RedState is just getting ripped off because they are not even getting any money for it.

I would say for any diary the author (i can allow staff as an exception for politicians i guess… cant have them down with us little people ) should answer a few followup question.

If you felt the topic was interesting enough to write a diary it should be important enough to answer a few questions along the way.
