Imagine how uncomfortable it would be for you and your family if your reporting is perceived to be putting The One in a tough spot. I know that Pelosi and Obama aren't the same thing---but they're part of the whole Democratic political movement the MSM and their friends openly favor. Thus, a sustained attack on Pelosi might threaten Democratic control in Washington. Can't have that. The MSM will write a few scathing editorials, and Howard Kurtz will write a few more "probing" articles after that, and they'll drop the whole matter. The MSM knows it needs to keep up appearances...but don't expect much more than that. Most of the MSM live in communities that are addicted to Hopium.
