The reason this is an issue is simple.

We’ve been hectored for years now by various leftist gasbags about how we should care above all about what “the rest of the world” (term cleverly undefined) thinks of us – AND that if THEY were given the reins of power, the world would love us and our adversaries and enemies would coo and nibble bird seed out of our hands.

These particular data show that the whole notion was idiotic and mind-bogglingly narcissistic – both in general terms about the leftists and Mr. Obama in particular.
