to erode sovereignty and unite the world under a one world order. Population control is everything to these people. They want to reduce lifestyles to lower birth rates. And it goes even farther than that. Spain has been pursuing a green industry for years and the result is an 18% unemployment rate. The Spanish government will not back off from this agenda however and are encouraging even more investment in it.

Interestingly, I heard a radio interview/discussion on plastic bags and non-plastic bags used at grocery stores, etc. In the end, the individual interviewed replied to a question as to the effect on the environment if plastic bags are not used – and he said that it would be virtually nothing, since plastic bags impact on the environment is only 1%. But then went on to add some mumbo jumbo that he hoped it would help people become more conscious about what effects other things had on the environment…

Of course, most wouldn’t believe that plastic bags would have such a small impact on the environment based on the hype nutty environmentalists spout…

a perfect exaample of the law of “unintended consequences.” As you noted everything they promote has serious adverse effects. Alternative fuel sources taking food from the starving third world countries, not using pesticides to prevent overgrowth of populations of harmful pests, again decreasing the food supply and as you noted the innocent light bulb, not so innocent anymore.

I believe the agenda,tactics and goals of the Global/Greenies movement is another route to Communism. Maybe it is the new Communism, but it is about power and control of people’s lives. “Pathological” and just as devastating.

I’m going to take a look at his book, though I’m afraid it makes for scary reading and I hate nightmares.
