It seems that all of the talking heads on TV that support the notion that Zero's quiet and non-confrontational demeanor is because the "kiss of death" in Iran is the U.S. is involved. So to prove these talking heads ignorant we have this story...

leaving out that one 8mm nut from a bazillion kits. I swear, sometimes I think of it that way; can't just be that s&*t happens when everything from China is missing some piece of hardware. And they by God can't make decent metal over there as exemplified by the fact that you can tear out the slots of a Chinese phillips head with just a moderate twist from a hand screwdriver; don't even think about using an electric with any speed and power on a screw made in China.

And there is a special Hell for the guy who designs the packageing that requires a set of tools worthy of Tim Allen to open. When I become the Minister of Convenience, somebody's going to die!

No gardening here though, unlike a lot of you. Just sand. Had lunch at TGIFridays on the Persian Gulf. My DH had to pull me out of the computer. Watched Iran coverage. It's only 50 miles away so it's very important here. My husband is looking for a job in TX so hopefully we can get back to the States this fall. I hate missing what's going on over there. And yes, ColdWarrier, I'll be signing up as a PC as soon as we get there.

for a long time. I don't know why RS'ers don't believe me. ;) They don't think capitalist like we think of the word it's like a bad word to them. I don't watch the MSM but I know 100% certain Iranian leaders have blamed us for a lot. They even have their young children say a negative chant about us like we do the pledge. Could you imagine if we had our kids say one word bad about another country as part of the day in one school never mind every school for years and years.

Took the tour with her. Then spent a couple more hours with her. Then when I got home, watched some of the Iran coverage with her and her brothers, who are 9. She's 11. Explained that the Iranian people know the people who claim to be their government have stolen the election for their president.

Spent some time on the net with other conservative precinct committeemen developing plans to recruit more of us at the July 4 Tea Parties in the greater Phoenix area.

Then wrote the following to try to recruit conservatives into action within the Party as PCs.

It’s pretty simple, no?

The Problem:

We have a political party, the Democrat Party, run by a cabal of power-mad, really misguided, bad people, in power. They are hell bent on ignoring our Constitution and imposing as much socialism on the people as they can get away with between now and the 2010 elections. Why? Because they believe they have the right to impose their will on the rest of us because they believe they are smarter than the rest of us. They tricked the well-intentioned, those who want to “help the poor people,” into going along with their plans. Prior to the 2008 election, they had Obama tell lies from his teleprompter to every special interest group to get their votes. And they succeeded. Those of you who voted for Obama were fools. Get over it. AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. WILL YOU?

If not, save your time, go back to your television or whatever it is you do “DO,” and quit reading now. If you are interested in a concrete plan to “secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity,” then read on.

The Solution:

What to do?

It’s pretty simple, no? Throw the Democrat cabal out at the next election. In 2010, we have the ability to throw out of office all Democrats (and Republicans who vote like Democrats – more on that in a moment) out of office.

How can we ensure that we DO THIS?

It’s simple. Have the main opposition political party, which seems to be weak and without a coordinated strategy to stop the Democrat Party, become stronger. That party is the Republican Party.

How do we make the Republican Party stronger and more likely to beat the Democrat Party in 2010? Listen up. BY HAVING ALL CONSERVATIVES WHO HAVE BEEN SITTING ON THE SIDELINES OF THE POLITICAL BALL GAME GET INTO THE BALL GAME.

What does that mean? Again, listen up: JOIN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AS A PRECINCT COMMITTEEMAN.

Why is this important? Why is this the solution? Two reasons.

First reason. Ever notice how the Republican “leaders” don’t seem to be very effective in advocating an alternative to Obama and the Democrats? Would you like to change those Republican Party leaders? Who votes for them? ONLY REPUBLICAN PARTY PRECINCT COMMITTEEMEN vote for the Party leaders. If you are registered Republican, do you recall ever voting for Republican National Committee chairman Michael Steele? No recollection? Let me help you here. You didn’t vote for him. Again, ONLY REPUBLICAN PARTY PRECINCT COMMITTEEMEN GET TO VOTE for the Party leaders.

Second reason. Ever notice how Republican candidates in the general election often seem to be just an echo of their Democrat adversaries? That they don’t offer a clear choice to the voters? Those Republicans who sound just about like Democrats are “moderate” Republicans, or what is called a “Republican in Name Only,” or RINO Republican. They don’t believe in the limited government set forth in the Constitution and they don’t take seriously their oath to support the Constitution and the Article VI requirement that they only pass laws “in Pursuance of” the Constitution. Precinct committeemen are in a better position, than the voters who are only registered to vote in the Republican Party primaries, to actually cross-examine the Republican Party primary candidates. Conservative precinct committeemen, in contrast to run-of-the-mill registered Republicans, get to quiz these primary candidates about their beliefs. And then, because precinct committeemen have access to the voter rolls in their precinct, they can advise the Republican voters in their precinct as to which candidate ought to get their vote in the primary.

If all the slots in your precinct happen to be filled, however unlikely, you can still volunteer.

Bottom line: The more conservatives we have in the precinct committeemen ranks, the more likely we will have conservative leaders and spokesmen and the more likely we’ll have conservative Republican candidates winning the primary elections and then going on to the general elections to soundly defeat the Democrat candidate. Real conservatives, like Ronald Reagan, tend to defeat liberal Democrats in landslides. Conservative American Constitutional principles always trump liberal socialist muddle-headed clap-trap.

Oh, and I left this part out. The Republican Party is there for the taking by the conservatives That’s because about half of the slots nationwide are unfilled. So it’s highly likely you’ll be able to become one. In my state, the Party is allowed one precinct committeeman for every 125 registered Republican Party voters. Until the next primary election, a registered Republican voter can be appointed to the position. Before the primary, a candidate for the office of precinct committeeman (it is an elected political position) must get the signatures of ten registered Republican or Independent voters to sign nominating papers. Most precinct committeemen run unopposed. In my county, two-thirds of the slots are unfilled. I am trying to fill those slots with conservatives. That will ensure that conservatives win the primaries and, then, it’s more likely we’ll beat the Democrat candidates in the general elections.

So, what are YOU going to do? This is not the time to assume “George is going to do it.” Your future, and the future of your children and your children’s children, is at stake.

Are you going to figure out how to get in touch with your local Republican Party organization and tell them you want to become a precinct committeeman? Or are you going to DO NOTHING but complain?

I’ll give you some help. Start here: www.gop.com. Drill into the site to find your state. Then your county. If that doesn’t work, do some more web searching. Call 411 for the Republican Party in your area. Don’t give up. Find the Party and JOIN IT.

To recap, is saving your country worth a few hours of your time each month? I thought so. Please read on for a recap of what to DO.

1. To change things, we must change the laws.
2. To change the laws, we must change the people who make the laws.
3. To get elected, your candidate must be on the ballot.
4. To get on the November ballot you must win the Primary.
5. To win the Primary, you must get the support of people who make endorsements in the Primary, who reliably vote in the Primary, and who get out the vote of others in the Primary. Those people are the Precinct Committeemen.

REAL CHANGE WILL NOT JUST HAPPEN

Most importantly, by becoming a Precinct Committeeman, YOU GET TO ACTUALLY VOTE FOR THE PARTY LEADERSHIP. YOU GET TO CAST A VOTE FOR YOUR LOCAL REPUBLICAN LEADERS UP TO THE COUNTY LEVEL, AND THEN GET TO ELECT ELECTORS WHO ELECT THE STATE AND NATIONAL PARTY LEADERS. If those who accept, understand and advocate conservative principles become a majority IN THE PARTY RANKS, guess what? The Party leadership voted in will be those who accept, understand and advocate conservative principles. THE WINNING PRINCIPLES THAT PRODUCED THE REAGAN LANDSLIDES. The Party again might appear to the voters to offer a clear choice from the Democrat Party, rather than an echo of it. HELP MAKE IT HAPPEN – YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU.

ELECTION WINNERS MAKE THE RULES

Go here to learn more:

The Most Powerful Office in the World is NOT the President of the United States: http://www.eagleforum.org/misc/brochures/precinct-committman.shtml

United we stand, divided we fall. The leftist cabal pulling Obama’s puppet strings and writing the scripts he reads off his teleprompter wants us to leave the GOP. That leftist cabal wants to divide us. That leftist cabal wants a weak, moderate GOP. And many weak, splintered Third Parties to siphon away votes from the GOP. That leftist cabal wants us to be divided because that way they will defeat us at the ballot box.

BECOME A REPUBLICAN PRECINCT COMMITTEEMAN for the sake of your country: Contact the Republican Party NOW and tell them you want to become a Precinct Committeeman.

Oh, and I left this part out. Not everyone can be a Republican Party precinct committeeman. It’s a competitive office. It varies from state to state. Where I live, the Party is allowed one for every 125 registered Republican Party voters. But the good news is that about half of the slots nationwide are unfilled. So it’s highly likely you’ll be able to become one. If all the slots in your precinct are filled, you can still volunteer. Your way of life under freedom are at stake.

You can do what’s necessary! Now get to it!

Thank you.

Thank you.
