I’m sure many of you have heard that Waxman’s Cap and Tax bill passed committee last night paving the way for yet another round of crushing tax increases on average Americans. I just called Cantor’s office here in Richmond to inquire about the GOP’s gameplan to fight this and was transferred to his DC office handling legislative matters. My conversation with Lisa in his office will make, to quote Glenn Beck, blood shoot from your eyes.
Past responses from staffers resembling crickets chirping have morphed into a stunning case of uhs and uhms of Obama-esque quality. When I asked about what the GOP gameplan was to fight this bill and educate the American people that one of the largest tax increases in our country’s history was looming she stunningly said that there was none.
Yes you read that correctly.
There.Is.No.Game.Plan.
Folks, we’re past time for torches and pitchforks and as each day passes, I’m convinced that something very wrong is going on right now in this country. When supposed ‘conservatives’ and GOP party leadership do not have a clear and strategic plan to counteract the continuing Marxist march towards the destruction of this country then I can draw only one logical conclusion.
They are complicit.
They are in on the whole damn thing.

Just got off the phone with Lisa at Cantor's office

He was “unavailable.” Asked why Cantor was not in front of the microphones day and night calling out Obama and his Dem minions on their headlong rush to socialize our economy. Was it because he was cowardly? Or complicit? Asked her to tell him to call me if he needed a strategy. Told her to tell him I was a conservative Republican precinct committeeman mad as hell at the lack of leadership in the Party, with Cantor as a prime example.

But I wonder if they are simply relying on the Senate to kill this.
I don’t know when the Waxman bill, if passed would actually take effect, but I actually think that maybe the best way we could win a landslide in 2010 would be for energy prices to skyrocket before the election!

And they’re afraid of the media calling them meanies if the do anything also. Wouldn’t want to stick their necks out like Dick Cheney. They think if the vote “no,” that’s the beginning and end of their job and nothing else is required. My theory, anyway.
