Members of Congress shouldn’t be paid at all. It should be a part-time civic duty commitment. Let them all have full-time real jobs (like running a damn business!) that pay for their lifestyles and ruin the country on the side.

wouldn’t care a bit about “The Great Democratic Sex Scandal Wave of 2011″. They’d probably think its well….great!

Things like a sex scandal are badges of honor to left wing politicians.
Remember it’s only sex…right? I mean they had one of their presidents getting serviced in the Oval Office and if I remember correctly they have a currently serving senator who was running a male prostitution ring out of his house no? You know that senator
who once he lost his pimpin’ grip went into the mortgage facilitation business…on the side. Pimpin’ for Fannie and Freddie paid better.

Mr. Steele and Senators McCain, Kyl and McConnell,
You profess to be the “leaders” of the opposition party. Do you have a common strategy? If so, I have not seen it.
Why not agree on Krauthammer’s and use it? Call Obama out on his deception. Stay on this message. The American people are not stupid. They fell for Obama’s song-and-dance because you didn’t do a good enough job of exposing him for what he is during the campaign. Now stop him! This country does not want socialism! Don’t fail us.

Yeah waste sucks, period, but earmarks just give a particular states congresscritter control over where the waste goes rather than that states leg and governor. We have to stop fighting over minor crap and face the real issues

That said, I wish more young people had a basic sense of shame about wrecking (or trying to wreck) someone else’s place.

And presuming they think wrecking someone else’s place is making a statement, I wish they sort of understood that sort of “statement” doesn’t actually work.

Even Gandhi didn’t mess with the British homeland! This is easy stuff guys!
