What is the Best Strategy to Bring Down Boxer

As a California resident and voter, I would vote for anyone who can defeat Barbara Boxer in the fall.  I have a lot of discomfort with Tom Campbell because he has a lot of ties to anti-Israel people and he seems not to be much of a conservative.   That said, Campbell is the frontrunner in the latest polls, Fiorina is second and Devore is still in the single digits.  As a candidate, sadly, Fiorina just doesn’t cut it.  She has an annoying habit of nodding her head all the time and she doesn’t seem to actually answer questions.  She does not present herself well.  But Campbell just dropped into the race and became the frontrunner.  Field polls tend to oversample liberals, it is true, but their errors are rarely in the range of 20% off.  I just don’t see how Devore can catch up.  He has been campaigning hard, but he doesn’t seem to have any traction.  Ideas?  Thoughts? Suggestions?  If I were voting solely on the positions, I would vote for Devore.  BUt I am also trying to vote for someone who can win the nomination and defeat Boxer.  I am not seeing either Fiorina or Devore as that person.

I see your problem

If you vote for DeVore and Fiorina ends up winning, you’re stuck, but voting for Campbell would be a bit compromising on principles.

I say vote your principles, because a vote means nothing and means something at the same time. That is, trying to vote strategically as an individual is moot, but voting based on principle can make a profound statement.

Good luck.
