I don't think Rees for one moment thinks ANYONE is coming in to support him. I know he is a just a guy who grew up there loves his town and is disgusted with the GOP and their shenanigans and he believes as WE all have found out that SUNLIGHT is the best disinfectant for dirt! after the 19th and if my son’s vote is worth anything he will certainly be taking a look at all the candidates. His Oct. 29 statement, obviously just wanting to hurt the other Republicans running, and they all threw their hats in the race before Hurt, is destructive. Had he brought up the national GOP involvement, and their support of the RINO Hurt, as his reason to go third party, he may have made the news. He is just being spitefull. The R candidate will be choosen at the Virginia Republican Convention in June. I just hope and pray that enough conservative Republicans will send a letter to their counties Republican Party chair to become a delegate. I understand it usually doesn't take more than asking to be a delegate in writing, yet most of those slots go unfilled. VA-5 can win with a CONSERVATIVE but the GOP will NOT get behind Conservatives. It goes without saying the bottom line is as ColdWarrior can never say enough BECOME A COMMITTEEMAN!!! I will be attending my son's first Official Call in Fairfax on Nov. 19th and I am pumped he is pumped and WE are going to DRAG those RINO's over to the Conservative side :) he left the party….he recognized up front and personal what the problems are with the GOP.
