Confession: Two weeks ago I felt myself succumbing to a terrible depression that was specific to this election as well as the market, which appeared unable to find any solid footing. I admit it. I was wimpy. I was fearful. But I don’t believe I was alone. Truthfully, I can’t even remember what was actually happening two weeks ago, this election cycle has been such a mish-mash overload of disingenuous information, particularly from the MSM, that I need an excel chart just to keep it all straight.

Where BHO Wants To Take US
Admittedly, I was unable to watch BHO’s info-mercial last night. I just can’t stomache the guy. He does not hypnotize me in the least; in fact his stuttering and uneven slow-voice-cadence are like blackboard scratching to my ears. If I care to see what he has to say, I usually read a transcript, and often I rely on other posters on this site for their analysis. It’s not that I can’t think for myself; I can and I do. But the information I get from fellow conservatives is more reliable than anything I can get from the MSM. Or,the Left Wing Media, if you prefer.
Apparently one of the themes presented last night was that the US is a terrible, horrible place to live. Because the US government does not care about the struggling folks out there and will leave them to twist in the wind and lead miserable lives. My understanding is that he portrayed the USA as currently on the verge of becoming a third world country, and only he and a bigger government can save us.
The Fight For Our Country
The past week or two have been extremely frustrating. Like many, I keep wondering why McCain won’t fight back on the FM/FM debacle, when he should be in the driver’s seat on this one. Would he rather preserve his honor than win an election? I am not being snarky. I understand the need to ‘not take the low road’. However, you have to strike when it is deserved. As a warrior he certainly understands this. To win this election, he has to be on the offensive. The democrats, and Obama/Biden, deserve to get hit, and hit hard. Like a bulls eye target. There is nothing wrong with that!
