The arrogance of legislators claim of not having time to read the whole bill reflects a contemptuous attitude towards their job and their constituents. But it provides the cover of implausible deniability later when the crap (as in crap and trade) hits the fan. Like Chris Dodd with the AIG bonuses. “I knew nothing about it, except I voted for it before I voted against it. Or vice-versa.”

Why do we keep voting for these morons? Read my lips: no more incumbents.

It has sections on returning to the poor folks the decrease in buying power they experience as a result of this bill.

Who determines the impact? Feds.
How does poor get money? direct deposit.

Sounds like income redistribution to me, folks. The bill itself makes the claims. So if you vote for it, you agree with it.

because he accepted an offer from Obama to become the Secretary of the ARMY. He hasn’t been confirmed yet, so he is still a Member of Congress. BUT – unlike Judd Greg, he decided to support the Obama policy of Cap and Trade rather than stand up for his Republican principles.
