to call Teleprompter Boy a liar? Recall Bill Clinton came out of Arkansas with all sorts of baggage, including the moniker “Slick Willie” and, eventually, Sen. Bob Kerrey called him an “unusually good liar.” He never won a majority of the electorate. And we all know that he’ll always have an asterisk after his name because he was IMPEACHED. For lying under oath. And then DISBARRED.

I hope our “leaders” start calling out Teleprompter Boy on his blatant lies.

Soon.

And I expect to be disappointed.

The bond market let's GM pay half as much intrest for the same amount oof debt as Ford out of spite. Otherwise, I'd be forced to conclude that public options, backed by the US Treasury, have a totally unfair advantage over private concerns in the credit markets.

It’s impossible for private insurers to ‘compete’ with government.

The author makes a very strong case as to how a public option tilts the playing field inexorably towards forcing out private competitors.

We’ve seeing a foretaste of the tilting the playing field against the healthier private player when we look at the debt cost thatFord has to pay to the private market for its bonds backed only by its solvency vs. the far lower cost what bankrupt GM has to pay for its bonds backed by the U.S. government.

Obama and his approach to every single policy. But the most outstanding thing that is wrong is that he lies about every piece of “information” that he puts out into the public domain. As far as I can tell, all the things he said in the campaign that he would absolutely NOT do, he has done.

Many of us here called him a Trojan Horse candidate right from the beginning and declined the privilege of wheeling that monstrosity inside the city gates. Too bad so many others couldn’t resist how shiny it looked in the morning sun!
