It was just another one of the phrases I associated with “Right Wing Crazies.” Now we’re getting to see the first UnAmerican President. I also can’t pinpoint it to just one thing, though I think itrytobenice has a handle on it down below. The guy simply isn’t connected with American tradition, history, or pride. He doesn’t seem to have the …instincts …identification ..tribal pride .. whatever that has made us “us.” (and yes I realize that hasn’t always been good). I remember one of Hillary’s campaign aides (can’t remember which one now), said that he thought Obama’s outlook was basically unAmerican. He was told to shut up because it came off as racist. Do you all really think that most liberals are this far away from what we always have been?

I read that because of America’s level of debt, we couldn’t qualify to be a member of the EU even if we wanted to be. Now wouldn’t it be so very fitting if we didn’t qualify to be a member of the one world thing for the same reason? More likely, we’d be a member but wouldn’t get a vote, just pay our dues and watch countries like Syria get to call all the shots.

Let me out it this way – I am from Virginia. If I were an official involved in some decision that required me to choose between the welfare of, say, New York or the welfare of Virginia, I would sure as hell choose Virginia.

Many, many immigrants get what being an American is far more than many Americans who can trace their lineage back generations. I am confident in saying that Barack Obama’s father did not get it at all, and that has an effect that should be avoided if possible among elected officials.
